We were 3 moms and 3 teens in for a 3 day swim meet at the Olympic pool; the apartment was the perfect location for us; we were able to sleep everyone comfortably and we really appreciated the kitchen space. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. We will book again

Large and clean facilities, comfortable space and friendly/accommodating staff. They were very helpful and flexible with our early arrival time. The room was better than expected and very pretty. We had a great night!

Can't recommend, unfortunately. The pictures are not at all accurate to the condition of the unit (2 bedroom upstairs). The place reeked of old smoke when we checked in. We told the woman downstairs and she came up and gave us some anti-smoke odor aerosol. Obviously we were not the first to complain. There were lots of stains on the chairs, mildew on the shower curtain, and the place was rundown, smelled like someone had chain smoked for years in the apartment, and bad food. We tried to open the windows, and were greeted with fresh air for a few minutes before someone right below us started smoking outside the window and we had to close it. The neighborhood is littered with trash, and felt generally unsafe and dirty. For the price we paid, we could have stayed in a luxury hotel downtown and taken the train to the Biodome (wish we had)! Please don't make the same mistake we did and stay elsewhere.

A cozy and clean property decorate with folksy art. A nice clean kitchen with a seating area. Beds were comfortable and the property was a very short walk to the the Metro. Even though this was a self check-in guest house, the hosts were a quick text message away and were very helpful and responsive.

I have been staying at hotels of one kind or another for over a half century and this is by far the finest. It is quite different as there are only four rooms and a common kitchen. My room was huge as was the walk-in closet and the bathroom with a very comfortable shower / tub. There was plenty of light and more than adequate electric outlets. Because the kitchen is totally equipped, I was able to have all my meals except for two dinners there, saving me a significant amount of money as well as going out in chilly weather. The hosts put together a delightful notebook in both French and English describing the neighborhood in detail including shops and restaurants. The Metro is just one block away. I look forward to returning in May. A caution. There is no television Etc in the room which is of no concern to me as I carry my own entertainment Etc with my computer and other electronics.

Clean, bright, calm and just steps away from the Olympic Park, biodome, planetarium and the metro, the Gîte is perfectly located. The guide provided to restaurants was invaluable and we had a great time.

My daughter and I stayed at Le Survenant and visited the Biodôme. We found great cafes (Atomic and Canard) all within easy walking distance. We were able to park on the street. Perfect location! Some noise bleed from neighbours but it didn’t keep us up at night. Beautiful room with private bathroom, and great full kitchen at everybody’s disposal. I would come back!

Our overal review is fine. This is a super clean place to stay. Here are the good things that you will notice: 1. Friendly housekeeper and a clean place. 2. Welcoming notices everywhere specially in the kitchen by putting the map and asking people to locate where they live by using color pins! 3. Nice and lovely decorations in your room. 4. Cute names for each room! They name every room and label them differently! And here are some tips for the management: Instead of putting the misleading picture on Google ( shows a huge palace picture as the main picture) put my attached picture! We were looking for a palace until we realized that the picture that you put on Google is a fake one! This is not nice! Your place is just an Airbnb room with an detached washroom.( eventhough it was private) You should not call this place a hotel! Price is high for such accomodation away far from downtown! Thank you.

Loved this place! It was convenient to every place we planned to visit. We walked to the Botanical Gardens, the Metro station was 1 block away and the metro was inexpensive and very easy to use. We were able to get places quickly without dealing with traffic or trying to find a parking spot. The home was clean with use of a large kitchen with everything needed to fix a meal. Our room was clean with a lovely updated private bathroom. One of the owners neighbors was willing to rent a spot in his driveway for $10.00/night. He lived around the corner making it easy to check on/get items from our car. We could have easily used our car any time during our 2 day stay if we needed w/o additional cost and it was more convenient than public parking spaces. Information for this was in a manual left by the owner along with detailed info about the rental, nearby restaurants and Metro routes.
