This hotel is such a contradiction. An impressive, extravagant lobby, contains a washroom with all the charm of public school. No soundproofing in the rooms (you can hear the street, your upstairs neighbors, and hallway traffic), yet there is real milk and cream in the mini bar for tea and coffee. The blandly designed rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious, but lack adequate black-out shades and have no-name toiletries.

beautiful room with comfortable bed explains good reviews. But, Wi-Fi is bad. The gym is small with very limited poor equipment. No privacy sign in the room led to housekeeping coming while in shower. Darkening shades don’t close. Can hear people walking above.

This was a fantastic hotel to stay at, from the moment you walk in service if top notch and the room was impressive. We had a king deluxe city view with a fantastic view of the square next to the hotel. The room was large, comfortable, well laid out, new, and clean. Very quite as well. The location of this hotel is fantastic as well right off of St. Catherine street and Eaton Centre, and a fairly easy walk to Old Town Montreal. We found ourselves always close to the hotel no matter where we went. We will certainly stay here again the next time in Montreal. This is a 5-star boutique hotel and serviced matched that, from the reception to valet and maid service as well.

Room 329 is on the 3th floor and has no views except on the roofs with all the drycoolers of the HVAC, with extreme noise at night. Terrible, use earplugs. The hotel itself is ok with friendly staff and a good restaurant and bar and it is conveniently in the centre.

Originally, I received a great service. I met with lady named Lucie Manceau who appeared to be a manager. I parked my car with the valet after shopping at designer stores. Personal items went missing. Valet was staff was rude when I attempted to process the situation. Had to call the police.

Company booked this hotel due to high rating. Extremely disappointed for a Central downtown hotel. Front desk Ms. Westbrook super unprofessional, and rude. I observed the staff gathering at Phillip square making fun of their guest. Hotel rooms are out dated and with carpet. During my last stay I was in Montblanc Suite.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful and well located hotel. The best part was the room: very comfortable beds, fire place , coffee machine and luxurious bathroom. The staff was super kind and helpful. There is a Vietnamese restaurant in front of the hotel and try to visit Allo mon Coco for breakfast

This could be amazing. The property certainly is. But it’s not well managed. Error on room assignment - fixed and complementary upgrade ; so - one off, dealt with well - ok. But - breakfast starts at 7, and cooked breakfast at 730 ? Very late. Sent to use a pool at neighbouring hotel - having checked twice - pool closed for renovation. Wasted journey. Alarm calls 10mins later than requested, twice Bill was to be emailed to me. Never happened. No one asked about my stay - hence never had the opportunity to convey any of these points. So, great but disappointing at the same time. Management needs to get a grip.

We absolutely loved this hotel. We were visiting Montreal for 2 nights and chose this hotel because it looked unique. It is gorgeous inside! The staff was courteous and helpful - we felt welcomed and the front desk did a great job assisting us. We stayed in the Montreal Grand View Suite - it was comfortable, elegant and we thought the shower window into the bedroom was hilariously naughty. We enjoyed the super comfortable bed and the bathtub. We ate at the Henri twice - once got dinner and once for breakfast - both times were excellent and the staff was professional and charming. Highly recommend this beautiful hotel!

Do not stay here. I checked in at 11pm and when my wife and I keyed into our room, there were other people there. Apparently they just had checked someone in prior under my name. They put us in a different room, but my wife and I are both sober so we had requested the mini bar be cleared before our arrival (with 2 confirmations, one via email and one via phone). We were simply ushered to a new room with out any consideration. By this time its midnight, I'm upset and have work the next day. We couldn't move until 6pm the next day because I had work that Friday in the city and we were staying the weekend. I asked for a solution to this mishap, they called and said they couldn't give me a better room. Not what I asked for, just something to say they cared. When I came back they said they would pay the 15% city tax for the first night because they didn't think it was that big of deal. I just resigned and said thank you. None of the Directors of Operations, Lucie or Marie, have called me about this. It seems like they only care about money and not about a great experience. The hotel is in a great location, end of positives. Do not stay here. I was very upset about the safety given they had just given me a key to someone else's room. So lock your doors when you arrive.…
