Clean, updated rooms. Excellent front desk. Great location close to shopping and restaurants. Nearby Bell Centre. Would go back to this hotel on my next Montreal visit. Full restaurant. King Size bed with sofa couch. Bed was very comfortable. Nice desk area to work on computer. Bathroom was very modern. Great shower with rainfall head and a handheld shower as well.
We spent 2 days at this Novotel. Money well spent the location was amazing 5 minute walk to Catherine street. Best shopping. So many places to eat basically next door. You won’t run out of entertainment. We walked to Barbie expo. The front desk staff was so friendly kind, helpful. Clean/ great view room 805
This hotel was in a great location for seeing lots of sights in Montreal. The room was huge, comfortable and very clean. Only thing was we were asked if we wanted a room on the top floor which we did, but the view was of an internal wall which was a bit disappointing
Great location. Near Bell Center, close to Ste Catherine St. Very good hotel. Modern and clean. Good service. To improve : Bedding (a bit too soft) and pump of the bottles (soap and shampoo) in the bathroom.
Two-day business meeting on-site went without a glitch! Service was friendly, professional, and punctual. Guest rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable… mini fridge, large shower with two shower heads, love seat, table, etc. Parking lot is TIGHT, so practice your tight turns.
We chose this hotel because we got an affordable rate. Very close to the main shopping street. The shower’s temperature and water pressure was good. The room I stayed did not have a bath tub. The internet speed is excellent. There is a gym.
Great place to stay in Downtown Montreal! Right down the block from the Bell Center and close by to everything you could need. Clean, nice rooms. Kind and helpful staff. Would definitely stay there again.
Was in Montreal for work, had my mother and son tag along so they could enjoy city. Flew in from BC, took and Uber to the hotel … check in was smooth, got a room on the 3rd floor. Nice room and even though it was near the elevator it was quiet. Used conference rooms on the 3rd floor, 4th floor and the big one on the main floor. All were every nice. Overall very nice stay. Can’t tell you the cost, as work paid for my room but location is great. While I was working my mother and son walked St. Catherine’s street for shopping … they explored the underground city shops, Eaton’s Center, a couple of cathedrals, went to McGill campus and the art museum. They thought the location of the hotel was very good.
I travel a lot and as an Accor Platinum Member I stayed at countless Novotels - this was one of the worst. The first room I got was in a desolate state and not clean at all. Upon complaining, I received the exact same room on the other side of the building. At least this one was in a little better condition. Usually, Platinum members receive an upgrade and some welcome fruits or sweets - here you get a small bag of old popcorn. No water on the room, no extras at all! For about $250/night excl. breakfast, this is just super disappointing. 2 stars only for the good location and the friendly response by the management, but they can only work with the desolate building that is Novotel Montreal.
Front desk staff was great. Room was clean and uncluttered. Mattress was comfortable. Room service and dessert in restaurant, all good. Only minor suggestion is that hotel replace toilet paper with two-ply.
