Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young
professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
Service from the hotel was perfect from beginning to end. Attention to detail and care was exemplary from the moment I arrived. Front Desk was informative, bellhop took the time to explain all the features of the hotel (automatic blinds, toilet/bidet, location of items, light s…

I recently proposed to my then-girlfriend (now fiancé) at The Ritz. The staff was outstanding in helping out. A huge shout out to Simon at The Dom Perignon Lounge, who went over and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. Everyone was so kind and I cannot wait to head back …
Beautiful hotel, centrally located and excellent service, as expected. Great breakfast buffet...watch their resident swans while eating. Their high tea service was the highlight for me, definitely make a reservation for that.
It depends where you book it , if you are booking it on line and your place of residence is in Canada you could get quoted in cad dollars or if you request it to be in US dollars that's also ok. So it all depends on your preference at the time of your booking.
Dear Amarit R,
Thank you for your interest towards the Ritz-Carlton Montreal. Yes it is possible. There is a mini-fridge in the room for the mini-bar that can be emptied and you can ask for a microwave in your room during your booking.
