The Four Seasons Hotel Montreal boasts rooms that are widely acclaimed for their comfort and sophisticated details, complemented by the hotel's devotion to cleanliness, as guests have highlighted. While the hotel's serene and opulent atmosphere is often praised, some guests have mentioned noise interruptions. Its central location is popular among visitors, despite the occasional discomfort from nearby nightlife. The staff's attentive service is well-regarded, although there are occasional remarks about the slow restaurant service. Luxurious amenities such as the pool and spa are celebrated, yet some guests feel the hotel does not offer good value due to additional fees.

The Four Seasons Montreal did not disappoint. The bellboys and front desk were helpful and remembered our names. The rooms are furnished beautifully with many high-end details that make it a pleasure to be in the room. There are two seating areas that are large enough to set up small work stations for two people. Wi-fi was sufficient with no issues taking zoom calls. We overlooked a main road so were concerned about road noise, but that wasn't an issue at all. The room comes with a Lavazza machine which I asked to be switched out to a Nespresso and they were able to accommodate my request. Room service breakfast can be ordered through the ipad that comes with the room and was delicious with a great selection. Housekeeping also accommodated our schedules in that we were in the room most of the day working but still managed to clean our room when we were at the gym or out later in the afternoon. The gym is amazing and for its size is probably just as good if not better than the Anatomy we go to at home. The location was convenient, we were able to walk to Old Montreal and were 10-15 minutes drive to most of the restaurants we went to for dinner. We even walked into the park, although if we'd known how steep it would be we probably would have ubered. Overall, an excellent experience!

We stayed at the Four Seasons for 3 nights in December before Christmas in a King room that over looked the street on the 8th floor. We had a wonderful stay and the room was exceptionally comfortable. I am in love with the pillows and bed sheets and slept so well. The large walk in shower was a treat as were the supplied toiletries and free standing bath. All staff we interacted were friendly and helpful, with a special shout out to the bellmen, who went out of their way to be so so helpful every time we arrived back or left. The valet parking service was the best we have enjoyed, they even supplied us with water for our onward journey to Mont Tremblant and stored our skis for us during our stay at no extra charge. That is what you expect in a hotel of this calibre and they definitely delivered. The breakfast was also extremely good, whilst very expensive, but we enjoyed it so much we did this on two of our three mornings. There were plenty of options, healthy foods to choose from and great wait staff. if we ever stay in Montreal again, this would be our hotel of choice.

Overall, a solid stay at Four Seasons - Montreal.

Hospitality and service were impeccable, from the doorperson to the concierges to the servers. We were celebrating an anniversary and were surprised by a room upgrade and a complimentary drink in Marcus Samuelsson's MARCUS Restaurant + Lounge (which is beautiful!) while the change was made. We later received a lovely gift from friends, which included champagne and an absolutely scrumptious pastry wishing us a "happy anniversary." We were also able to get a slightly-later check-out on our last day (and were able to leave our bags to pick up on our way to the airport).

The suite, on the 12th (top) floor, was lovely--set-up was similar to the Conrad in Washington, DC and The Plaza Hotel in NYC. Thankfully we could not hear the sounds from either the nightly club downstairs or the wedding celebration on the Saturday. We heard a bit of noise from the room next door on that Saturday night (think it was used to house the childcare for said wedding), but thankfully my travel white-noise machine was able to cover it.

Generally loved the countertop space in the bathroom, the variable lighting schemes available and the button-controlled curtains (though sometimes wish for a guide or labels rather than trial-and-error for the latter two), the wooden room keys, and the walkability of this Four Seasons (close to convenience stores, pharmacies, cafes, restaurants, and sightseeing).

Some additional pros:
- Wifi worked well throughout the hotel, including the fitness facility/gym, which made my workouts that much smoother;
- Electrical outlets on both sides of the bed with bedside tables;
- Hair dryer, shower cap, loofa, various toiletries (wished these were unscented, as I tend to be slightly allergic to florals), robes and slippers available (would have preferred to keep the same slippers the entire stay to reduce waste);
- Complimentary boxed water and a water-bottle filling station in the fitness facility/gym;
- Complimentary coffee machine and hot-water kettle;
- Nightly turn-down included a filled ice bucket;
- Good-sized fitness facility with multiple treadmills (including a curved manual), ellipticals (two types), stair stepper, recumbent and upright cycling machines, weight benches and machines, free weights, and yoga mats;
- Umbrella was available to borrow (thankfully not needed!)

Only cons were in the bathroom: the temperature of the shower fluctuated during use (suddenly getting hotter or chillier) and the bathtub plug didn't fully close the drain.

If I could give this hotel ten stars, I would. My husband and I just ended a five day stay and we’re so so impressed. Usually we stay at Ritz Carltons because we are RC credit card holders, but the FS Montreal looked so nice we had to give it a shot, and we are so glad we did. The staff at this hotel is terrific in every way, especially Nicolas D-C, who was most gracious and welcoming. Our room was beautifully decorated with perfect lighting. The curtains are all automatic at the push of a button and there is an iPad in the room that you can use to order anything you need, including your car from valet. We had a minor issue with housekeeping, which was not housekeeping’s fault, but they were so apologetic and sent a bottle of champagne and an appetizer to the room. We had room service breakfast three of the four mornings and once for dinner, and the food always arrived on time and still hot. Although the only other FS locations we have ever stayed at were Miami and Budapest, this Montreal location is so much more memorable.

Perfectly situated within walking distance of so many attractions (Centre Bell, the Fine Arts Museum, Parc Mont-Royal, Holt Renfrew Ogilvy department store), the FS Montreal is the ideal spot for exploring the city & still feeling like you're at a remote luxury resort away from the hustle & bustle. The indoor pool & sauna/steam rooms were a welcome treat during the wintry weather, as was the huge soaking tub with Byredo bath products. Everyone we encountered seemed genuinely thrilled to be able to talk to us or help with anything we could possibly need. The nightly turndown service paid attention to the smallest of details (they slipped a bookmark into the book I left on the night table, wrapped our charging cords in leather cord keepers, etc.) Breakfast from both room service and at Marcus were fresh & flavorful; they made the best matcha lattes I've ever had. The staff here truly understand what it means to be a luxury hotel, and they take pride in their roles in delivering an unparalleled guest experience.

Wow! What a great hotel. To begin with, before we ever arrived, we contacted the concierge staff to get restaurant recommendations and advice for how to see the eclipse. They responded quickly with detailed restaurant and sightseeing recommendations, and they did legwork to find out how to view the eclipse, which was invaluable.

The hotel is excellently located, around the Golden Square Mile in Montreal (not far from the famous mural of local great Leonard Cohen).

When we arrived, the door staff and valet greeted us kindly, took our rental car, and quickly showed us upstairs to the third-floor reception area. Sarah at reception cheerfully gave us yet more good advice about visiting Montreal, and was such a pleasure to talk to. Even after a long and VERY tiring trip, her positive attitude made us happy to take a moment to chat. She was efficient and wasted no time, but also took all the time for us that we needed.

Our room was fabulous! We got a Premium Carre Dore room, which had an excellent view of the city and a deep soaking tub, which was perfect after that long trip. The bed was very comfortable, and it had

We especially appreciated the yoga mat that they provide for guests' use. I used it for a half-hour yoga session in the room.

And the room service was just fantastic! The chocolate dessert, the lobster pasta, the Quebec cheese (Quebec cheese is superior), and the filet steak made us very happy.

Oh, and lest we forget: kudos to a hotel that's wise enough to serve breakfast until 12:00 noon! Please keep doing that! I wish every hotel would. That is VERY much appreciated.

The only thing we'd change is that we hope to stay longer next time. We didn't get to visit the spa, pool, and such, which we think must be fantastic. I've been to several Four Seasons hotels, and they're always incredible, but I think this might be the best yet. We plan to gladly return!

The staff is beyond courteous and lovely but the quality was just not there like it was in the past.
It took an unreasonable amount of time for the shower water to get hot and then once hot, almost impossible to adjust the temperature unless putting it completely cold. It’s as if being on the tenth floor had a major delay in the change in water temperature. One of the handles for the bathroom faucet was very loose and just kept turning. This resulted in a trickle of water instead of a stream and the lack of control of temperature once again. It was impossible to pull a Kleenex out of the decor box without it ripping because the tissue box stuffed into it seemed too big. The tablet/iPad in the room was glitching when attempting to order food and missing writing in any and all buttons to add something to your order or submit an order. Ended up reaching out through the chat option to reception and they called the room to take our order instead. Sadly the in room dining from Marcus, although lovely was not great. Our meat was over cooked and dry. The breakfast omelette was not cooked through and I understand some people like this but a runny omelette for me was a big turn off and there were no customization options when ordering.
Parking was not included in the price and was a surprise additional $55 on our bill as it was valet parking.
Besides the negative, everyone was really welcoming, polite and willing to help. We had a lovely view from our room. The room was very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the staff went the extra mile to leave a personalized welcome note in the room with small heart shaped mousse cakes for my husband and I.
Overall paying over $1100 for a night where things just kept going wrong was very disappointing.
This is not a reflection of the staff as they were amazing but it seems the business in not investing their money when it comes to the quality and upkeep of their rooms but then think it reasonable to overcharge their customers. Had everything gone smoothly, it would have been worth my money.

I've just returned from a four-night stay. The property and location are beautiful! Aesthetically, it is a perfect luxury city hotel. Unfortunately, the service was far from what I've experienced at 15+ Four Seasons properties around the world.

Many calls to in-room dining and housekeeping went unanswered. Valets did not help with luggage or even bother to open the front door on our arrival or throughout our stay. Additionally, It took over an hour to get a cocktail at the pool.

Overall I was hoping for another great FS experience but it really lacked the warm, personal, and thorough hospitality you typically can expect from FS.

We stayed from Wednesday night to Friday Night.
Check in was easy
The room, basic King was STELLAR on the 11th floor
Comfy bed, great shower and bathroom

This is a very touristy area, we prefer Old Montreal and found we had to uber/cab there, and with all the street/road work it wasn't easy. There is a lot of high end shopping but not many of the old charm of Montreal nearby. Many of the places to eat are generic and quite Americanized-this does not have anything to do with the hotel but just giving you a point of reference.

There is a spa pool and gym and those were great. We took advantage of all the amenities.

We felt we needed to call to ask for our room to be made up as there wasnt a door tag to request it and they offer you a tablet in the room for requests but that did not seem to be accurate.

Their concierge service was excellent and overall everything was lovely

Every part of our experience has been wonderful. The hotel is situated in a central location in downtown, close to retail shops, the Fine Arts museum and public transportation. Everyone we met has been extremely professional and kind.

Pre arrival, Sarah and Dimitar from the concierge team have been proactive with restaurant recommendations, including helping us make reservations at sought after dining destinations. Ou dinners were definitely one of the highlights of our trip, thanks to them!

Neil, who checked us in, was also professional and patient. Since it was our first trip to the city, he armed us with city maps, not only took the time to get us oriented with the layout of the city but also shared with us a few of his favorite places to go.

Our room was quiet, had a functional layout, comfy bed and well appointed. We loved the addition of an in-room iPad where we can view hotel amenities at a glance and also the ability to make requests. We also loved the fact that the rest area in the spa has a reflexology pool and garden, it is a unique offerings that helps soothe our tired legs after a long day of walking around town.

We also enjoyed our breakfasts at Markus restaurant as well. Big open space, fresh, warm pastries, fresh fruit and ingredients, so good! In addition, Marie, the hotel's guest relations manager, surprised us one morning, introducing herself and thanking us for choosing the hotel. It was a nice gesture and definitely made us feel welcomed for sure.

Luke from the restaurant and Kiran from the bell desk were kind to us as well, they always had smiles for us every day while we were in residence.

All in all, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely choose the Four Seasons Montreal again the next time we're back.
