Hotel was old but the unit I stayed in was updated. I stayed for a week and fortunately received an upgrade to the club floor with city views. I loved the amenities including gym, sauna, and a hot tub. Unfortunately on the last day I wanted to stow my luggage after my check out time. I found out that they charged $3 per piece of luggage which is outrageous. We opted not to do it out of principle as the check out time is controlled by the hotel and stowing luggage allows them to clean the room. Luggage storage is also standard service at most hotels. it ruined my entire last day at Montreal as we had to account for luggage anywhere we go.

Dear ykw818, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your honest feedback. I'm pleased to hear you enjoyed the hotel and its facilities. I however understand that you are dissatisfied with the luggage storage fees and sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. Given the large size of our hotel and its limited space for luggage, this fee is given to our bellmen who are hard at work to provide this service for a large amount of guests daily.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Le Centre Sheraton Montreal. It turned out to be an excellent choice for our wedding anniversary getaway. Upon check-in, we learned that we'd been upgraded to an executive suite then reached our room to find a handwritten welcome note and a complimentary bottle of wine. Throughout our stay, various staff members went out of their way to introduce themselves and congratulate us on our milestone anniversary.
Because we booked a club-level suite, we enjoyed access to a daily breakfast buffet with a variety of fresh pastries, fruit, and protein options, plus warm beverage options ranging from teas to cappuccino. During the evenings, the club offered an assortment of filling hor d'oeuvres, desserts, and other culinary delights which made leaving for dinner unnecessary. But when we did leave the hotel for excursions and outside meals, we found that we'd lucked out with the location as the hotel is on the main boulevard, right near a major shopping center and a stone's throw away from the departure site for Grayline Tours, which you can use to experience the sites and as public transportation around the city. Clearly, we enjoyed our trip and our accommodations. We continue to be very grateful to Christopher Spear and his team at Le Centre Sheraton Montreal for helping to make our milestone anniversary memorable and special.

This Sheraton is one of the best managed that I have ever stayed it and will continually return to. The hotel is located exactly where you want to be in downtown Montreal (close to many great places). The hotel has been completely renovated with rooms that are modern, well decorated, cozy, and have great views. I was very high up and the view was spectacular. The lobby restaurant was really good - so happy I ate there - Judy is the best. Note, for Bonvoy elite members, the Lounge is really something else on the 37th floor - what an amazing view of the city. Top service, excellent snacks and delicious Hors d’Oeuvre. Peter, one of the hosts was great.

But, the best part of all was Michelina, Stacey and Ritchara at the front desk. All 3 provided a sincere warm welcome with a smile, made us feel at home and took great attention to detail with helping us get the best room available - truly thankful. They both exemplified true professionalism in attitude and job execution. Wow! Very impressed. The whole Front Office and Operations Team should be congratulated.

Thanks again for a great stay!! Keep up the great work.

This year alone I stayed at 7 different Sheraton Hotels, Sheraton Montreal was the best of them all. Newly updated rooms, one of the best club lounges I saw in USA & Canada. As a Titanium Bonvoy member I received an upgrade to a Hospitality Suite (Consisted of two room, a small kitchen with a microwave). For breakfast you have the choice of having it at the club lounge or at their main restaurant (Stanley) a voucher worth 40$ A La Carte, with many delicious breakfast options including (Chicken Waffle, Avocado Toast, Grilled Cheese, Lebanese Shakshuka…) I really enjoyed my stay. I guess this is how the Sheraton should be today as it was the icon of luxury in the past. Highly recommended.

Hockey tournament for can am. Hotel is clean, sleep was good, restaurant food good. 3night stay with hockey teams 8year olds. They run this hotel like a prison for the kids. Upon check in your told if there’s more than two noise complaints you will be charged $400. Excessive ya think. The team is arriving all around the same time. You have excited eight year olds, parents unloading and not even here an hour and someone calls in a complaint. Get real will ya. AT that time your told you can go to a certain floor to make noise. Wow check in would have been a good time to mention that part. No small hockey stick are allowed but yet you see a bunch of kids with them no one approaches them, Hey we followed those rules other teams did not. Splash in pool, nope need to be careful of splashing. It’s a pool, there kids get real will ya. My point here is this is a nice hotel but not for hockey tournaments with kids. Nothing in hotel for kids, no real place to let off steam. Some workers walk by the kids and shake their heads in discust when kids are a little rambunctious I saw it twice. Bell center five minutes walk. Restaurants all around pay a fee to park in hotel garage elevators are slow as. We actually used the stairs and we were on the 11th floor. Overall if your an adult sure stay here (expensive) but they really should not be using this hotel for hockey tournaments.

We stayed here for 6 nights in July/August 2024. We asked for a quiet room which we were grateful for as we’d travelled all day . The electrical charging points both in the rising table
and by the bed didn’t work at all. Also there was a whirring sound coming from the table so we had to unplug it for fear of a fault. We reported this to the room cleaning lady who kindly passed it on. We were told to make a complaint the following day . We raised it with the male receptionist who just shrugged his shoulders and said ring 0 in the morning and we will send maintenance . No charging for the phone! We then reported it again on day 3 and the receptionist said well they don’t work and here’s a plug adapter… but my phone charges on a USB-C adapter so not compatible.
So not a good experience there … the cleaning staff were so kind and thorough with our rooms though . The lifts .. well they work intermittently and you have to go up to go down so allow plenty of time l, we had to allow 20 minutes for a pick up outside the front of the door from our room to the foyer. I heard 6 people got stuck in a lift so we all were told to use the service elevator’s ( wondered why I’d chosen this hotel now!). The pool staff were welcoming but the pool was full of screaming children and was far too cold for me… I walked along to the jacuzzi and it was red hot! The guy at the desk said some people looked very red faced earlier and he was surprised they’d not passed out … so I decided against that idea too. Again I had to use the service elevator. Air conditioning is good but noisy. Having stayed t the Hilton in Toronto I have to say this hotel wasn’t a patch on the stay we had there . One last thing to consider is the hotel allows dogs and we had one in the room above us which wandered around most of the night .

Overall the stay was ok. The hotel itself is nice, not modern and not old looking, staff were nice and friendly when we checked in. The renovated restaurant on the main floor makes it look newer that it is. We stayed in a standard king room, it was fine, not too small, bathroom is tight, it does have a walk in shower but no fans. The bed isn't too comfortable, they don't have pillow top mattresses, the pillows are fine. The in room fridge only stays on for 2 hours at a time so you need to keep setting it to on if you plan on keeping food in there. I get energy conservation but still, it's just an inconvenience having to remind yourself to turn it back on.

The main issue we had was there was absolutely no hot water in the shower when I went to shower, like none. It really sucks having to take a cold shower. I only used the shower in the morning when checking out (stayed 1 night) so it was too late to get a new room or have it repaired. I told the front desk, I asked if there was anything that could be done but it didn't seem like they cared too much, other than saying we've been having water issues as of late... Thanks for letting me know when I was checking out.

Give the amount of similar class and priced hotels downtown I probably wouldn't stay here again but that's not to say it's terrible and you should avoid at all costs, the hot water and what I felt like was a lack of care from staff was off putting.

Dear 823eliasy, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. I'm dissappointed to hear about your unfortunate experience whilst staying with us, I understand how an uncomfortable bed, a half functional mini-fridge and no hot water can make for an uncomfortable stay and an overall dissatisfaction despite our personable staff at check-in. I sincerely apologize for this situation and assure you your experience is not representative of our standard. I'll be sure to run your comments by my management team in order to further improve our customer service moving forward by having conversations on empathy with our front desk staff as well as having our maintenance team investigate the cause of those water and bed issues.

Stayed 3 nights with my daughter a week ago and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Location is amazing- shopping and great restaurants nearby and we had a lovely walk to Old Montreal from here. Room is very spacious and updated with neutral soothing colours, bed and bedding are super comfortable.

Pool/gym- the best indoor hotel pool in all of Montreal in my opinion! Pool was actually a perfect temperature and the air was warm (I usually find hotel pools very cold and unappealing). Hot tub and sauna was an added bonus. Gym was more than sufficient and open late. There is a pool attendant who is also very customer service oriented, always with a smile and very attentive, switching out towels for us when needed.

Restaurant was closed for renovations but we struck gold as they have a Starbucks inside the hotel so there was no need for a restaurant breakfast.

Why a 4 and not a 5? Room cleaning. Somehow this was missed our first day and we had to call down 3x to ask for towels. Finally gave up and got towels from the pool attendant. Also happened the 2nd day and the 3rd day the lady doing rooms forgot to empty our garbage and replace hand towels. Didn’t impact our stay and I will definitely stay here again this summer!

This hotel was the location for my annual business meeting at the beginning of the month. The room reservation made under my organization's block was painless, as was the check-in process on the pre-meeting day.

My room was small but comfortable, the bed also comfortable, overall very clean and well maintained. Although only four elevators to service the 35+ floors, there was little waiting involved. The conference facilities were excellent, including the breakfasts and lunches provided during the three day meeting.

It was very easy to access the amenities of downtown Montreal by foot or by Uber.

I am not staff - The hotel isn't connected directly to the underground city, but a very short walk of less than a block takes you to Bonaventure metro station, which is connected. Take the metro from there 3 stops to Champ-de-Mars, for Old Montreal.
