very good located at one main street of the city; metro/train station (Lucien L'Allier) at the next block; Saint Catherine at the back; rooms are clean but a little bit sterile (grey in grey); plenty of space; good water pressure and good hair dryer; breakfast was a la carte - did not try; staff was attentive;
We recently stayed at the Le Centre Sheraton Montreal during the week of the National Bank Tennis Open. This is no doubt one of our favorite hotels in Montreal and we have stayed at over 10+ properties in the downtown area. The view from the club lounge is one of the best from our experience. My wife loves the breakfast in the morning and it's so nice to have a place for the kids to snack and rest after a long day of "exploring." We have stayed at this prestigious property multiple times since the border opening and we can't rave about it enough. This time, my family and I arrived a little earlier than expected and were told to check back around noon. With no immediate plans, the kids and myself waited in the lobby (reservations for the Planetarium were later in the day). Then to our surprise, the Customer Rep (my apologies for not remembering her name) informed us that our room was ready. With the generosity of Ms. Sophie and this Front Desk Rep, "We've upgraded you the Vice Presidential Suite!!!" The girls and I were awed by this gesture, thank you!!! The suite was absolutely gorgeous, it has a private bar along with breathtaking views of the Montreal skyline. This was another extremely memorable experience at Le Centre Sheraton Montreal and we can't wait to be back!!!…
As Titanium Elite member of Bonvoy , once check in my room upgrade to a suite , what a nice surprise to receive a box of awesome sweets with a personal hand writing note from the manager of VIP & Club Lounge Manager . This shows how much the management cares for their loyal clients . Bravo.
My 15 year old daughter stayed at the Sheraton on a school trip. The hotel was crowded due to holding a student conference and the elevators were often crowded with people. Unfortunately, an elevator she was on got stuck and people were trapped inside for over 1 hour. At least 2 people fainted, one threw up, the walls were thick with condensation due to the extreme heat and amount of people in the elevator. Upon being rescued by the fire department, the hotel staff yelled at kids getting out of the elevator for the crowding of it. They didn't even have the decency to bring water and ensure everyone was ok. My daughter and her friends were traumatized from this experience and the staff were not helpful. I emailed Marriott corporate abiut this incident and they indicated they forwarded on my complaint to the hotel management and I would hear back from them in 3-5 business days. No resonse was provided and to this day I've still had no outreach. While I'm sure this hotel is lovely when everything is going well, be aware that should anything go wrong you may be left with the same lack of empathy and responsiveness one would expect in a grave situation.…
The Le Centre Sheraton is located close to both the green and orange metro lines. It's about a 7 minute walk to either line. Also, the 747 (airport bus ) stop is about two blocks from the hotel. There are many shops and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. It's a great area to take a long walk, with lots to see and do. The hotel is large with a nice indoor pool, whirlpool, sauna and large gym. The rooms are quiet and updated, however, the bathroom in our room was small. The lounge on the 37th floor is one of the largest and nicest Bonvoy clubs. Breakfast at the club was very good with many friendly employees interacting with the guests. Don't miss happy hour at the club; the food choices are wonderful.
We have been staying at this hotel whenever we travel from NB to go watch the Montreal Canadiens! Since 2009, we have been staying there everytime we go to Montreal! This is our favorite hotel and we haven't been since 2019 because of the pandemic but we are going this weekend (Nov.11) Its the best hotel, always had the best service and its close to everything! ❤️
My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Le Centre Sheraton Montreal. It turned out to be an excellent choice for our wedding anniversary getaway. Upon check-in, we learned that we'd been upgraded to an executive suite then reached our room to find a handwritten welcome note and a complimentary bottle of wine. Throughout our stay, various staff members went out of their way to introduce themselves and congratulate us on our milestone anniversary. Because we booked a club-level suite, we enjoyed access to a daily breakfast buffet with a variety of fresh pastries, fruit, and protein options, plus warm beverage options ranging from teas to cappuccino. During the evenings, the club offered an assortment of filling hor d'oeuvres, desserts, and other culinary delights which made leaving for dinner unnecessary. But when we did leave the hotel for excursions and outside meals, we found that we'd lucked out with the location as the hotel is on the main boulevard, right near a major shopping center and a stone's throw away from the departure site for Grayline Tours, which you can use to experience the sites and as public transportation around the city. Clearly, we enjoyed our trip and our accommodations. We continue to be very grateful to Christopher Spear and his team at Le Centre Sheraton Montreal for helping to make our milestone anniversary memorable and special.…
The stay at the this hotel was excellent. They exceeded my expectations on all fronts. The staff at the front desk was excellent and very efficient. They allowed me to trade various low denomination bills and coins for a few larger bills which was really appreciated. The Exec Lounge was excellent, both in the evening and for breakfast. There was plenty of room so one could relax and enjoy the skyline while winding down in the evening. The room was very nice, modern and clean. Modern in décor but very tasteful. The bathroom was also a very nice size with all the amenities that one might need. The location was also great as you could easily reach all of the major sightseeing attractions in Montreal. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking of going to Montreal. You will be impressed. …
Excellent location. Clean hotel and rooms. Came on a very busy weekend but due to the size of the hotel it was not an issue. Front desk staff was very friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend and would return in the future. Parking available at a cost. Plenty of food options around and Old Montreal is definitely in walking distance.
Very good hotel. Pros Good treatment of BonVoy elite members Excellent club lounge Very good gym Nice pool with jacuzzi and sauna Good location Well designed rooms Great service Cons The pool has a shallow part which is great for kids but a bit too shallow when doing laps. But still manageable. Very good hotel overall. My new favourite in Montreal
