We only stayed here because it was the only hotel we could still get that had parking available for park and fly during the Ontario and Quebec March breaks. Lets just say it is not some where I would be looking to stay again or recommend to any one. The establishment is dirty and dated with decor straight out of the 80's which is probably when it was last refurbished.
We booked here for our sleep park and fly. It was our 3rd year in a row, but definitely our last time. First off it's an ok place for a night and get parking, but beware of paying the the MANDATORY boot that does not always get put in. We could not leave hotel to go eat, because we were told the boot would be put on soon. Next morning before taking the shuttle my husband took a picture of our car no boot. Our car never got put on for 2 weeks even though we paid the extra 15$ fee. While we were there someone had trouble taking of their boot and we tried to help him. So apparently they only have so many boots, but charge everyone for it. Check-in went well coming back was terrible called for shuttle had to call many times to get through and when we did get through it took us calling 3 times asking for a shuttle to be rudely answered by the employee and it took almost an hour for the shuttle to get to the airport. We used to recommend this hotel it's only a night, but never again!!!! Couldn't pay us enough to go back.…
Terrible. Booked last minute for use of long term park and fly. Upon arrival we were informed that we needed to add a $15 mandatory boot on my car due to a high theft rate in the area! Reluctantly agreed. We were told to come check in upon return to get a key and take the boot off. Upon return, we saw a couple taking off their boot. Went straight in to get our key and after checking the computer and desk laid out with sheets and keys the attendant said there was no boot on my car, to go out and check and if not we would get refunded. There was indeed no boot on the car. Came back in and he had now changed his story that the boot was taken off that morning. We demanded a refund - he immediately said no problem and refunded in cash? Clearly a scam! The hotel itself is extremely dated. Tiny, worn towels, creepy hallways, old musty furniture in the room? Do yourself a favour and stay at literally anywhere but here!…
Pay the extra money and stay at a different hotel! This hotel has the most unfriendly and disorganized staff. Hotel is old and needs a facelift and a good clean. They have you pay for an anti theft boot for your car. Upon on our return they had no record of us leaving our car at the hotel. My husband and I have stayed at several hotels and this is the worst!!!!
On checking in, I asked if there was an elevator, if not, I would want something on the ground floor, to be told that our room was one floor up and there was an elevator. Took our luggage up in a luggage cart, only to find that to get to our room, we had to go down 7 steps ,,, what part of "no stairs" did he understand??? Also, he sounded as though our room could not be changed to ground level, even if I wanted it, as our Queen deluxe was just up from the lower level. When my husband went down to return the luggage cart, he mentioned that a few doors down the carpet was saturated from a leaky roof, there was hair on the bathroom floor. The receptionist responded that we should have reserved "business". I have been a Wyndham rewards person for many years, and it is the first time that I have heard such nonsense. My understanding from many years ago, that Canadian hotels are smoke free, yet around 9pm I went to the bathroom and started smelling cigarrette smoke, followed by nasal itchiness as I am allergic to cigarrette smoke. Will never return here.…
