Run down .. old carpet rolled up in the hall way to get rid off,
Seems like they are doind renovations . There was boxes that looked like flooring pilled in the hallway .
We had a late flight comming in so we only stayed a few hours of sleep because they started the vacuming at 845 am in front of our door ..
Who vacumes the hallway at that time of morning?
They never said sorry .
As for the breakfast , the front desk never asked if she could fix anything ,, there where no eggs and it semed like they did not want to replenish ..
Poor service... for the extra 20$ stay somewhere else ..

Where do I start.. $900 for a single night stay (since you always get your results within 1 day), the food is gross, bright florescent lighting in the rooms, the bathroom light only goes on along with what sounds like an industrial fan, the place stinks, the bed looked like it had hardly been made, there is no toilet paper on the holder, no soap in the hand dispenser, no filters for the coffee machine (they give you instant coffee pack though), an AC with duct tape all over it, and a big ball of yellowed tissue paper left casually in the corner, which when pointed out to the woman who came in she didn't even remove it. I can hear every call that is made and answered down at reception and can enjoy listening to their especially rude receptionist refuse every request possible when I don't hear every word of anyone who walks by as if they are in my room. PATHETIC. this is not 1 star this is -4!! Whoever did the hotel curation for the government should be fired and this hotel should be shut down due to the lack of cleanliness alone.

I guess you get what you pay for. This hotel was originally EconoLodge until Wyndham took it over and it became Baymont. The check-inn staff was very nice but that's where it stops. After 1AM there is nobody at the front desk and the doors are locked. A minor inconvenience is that there are no diet sodas on offer inn the vending machine. When entering my room (with much force) I had to slam it shut otherwise it would not close. Although the staff at the front desk was nice, neither of the 2 knew how to program a wake up call leaving me to fend for myself. Alas, there is a clock in the room. It was analog and not electric. To make matters worse, it had the wrong time on it. The stained sheets matched the stained towels. The breakfast consisted of not much. Fruit juices, milk, hot beverages (coffee, tea, etc.) plain croissants, mystery muffins (all different kinds but not labeled) breads, and eggs which I think were raw and just for show.t also has 2 cold cereals and spreads for your bread which you can toast in their toaster. The whole stay was a sham. Stay somewhere else. I do not recommend this hotel.

I had booked a room for my parents on Sep 3. The hotel website advertises a shuttle service . When they reached the airport they were told to take a taxi and confirmed that they had a booking.

They were made to wait for 5 hours and then suddenly told that their booking did not exist. This after my credit card had been charged fully. They spent the whole day and night on the road and spent a fortune on cabs.

Avoid this hotel at any cost. Absolutely poorly managed,no coordination with booking agencies, almost impossible to get through on the phone. I am still fighting for my refund, and the huge sums spent on cabs.

Their website falsely advertiss a 24/7 shuttl right on the front page

Very disappointed. I can't recommend.
Hotel website is misleading! Hotel's own website says about free 24/7 airport shuttle, it is the main title of the page, and that was one of the reasons why I chose the hotel. But they don't have any shuttle! No free shuttle or for a fee. The front desk employees didn't even know about the shuttle information on the hotel website. Please correct the hotel website information!!
And be careful of the taxi drivers from the Montreal airport! The taxi ride from the airport to the hotel should cost $20 but I was taken for a detour and charged almost double.
One of the bath towels had a stain and long, dark hairs on it. When I went to get another towel I was given only 2 small hand towels, which we didn't even have in the bathroom before.
In the morning there was a very strong sewage smell in the bathroom. The smell was so bad that I almost became sick.
The room floor(carpet) felt dirty, I had to put socks back on. Bathroom floor was dirty. Bathtub had a small puddle of water in it.
The bed and pillows were ok but there wasn't any bedsheet under the blanket/comforter, so we slept with our clothes on.
No coffee or tea maker in the room.
Very thin walls, you hear next door guests and hallway movement.
The air conditioning didn't seem to be working in the room and I didn't see a way to adjust. But I was too tired to ask about it.
There was a water dispenser close to the front desk but it was out of water. I asked about it, and was told oh we don't have the water, new one water container should be bought but we haven't!
Free buffet breakfast was disappointing as well. No waffles or pancakes, yoghurt was room temperature, and the "fresh fruits" were hard oranges and rotting apples. Orange juice didn't taste anything like orange juice. Coffee was hot, and boiled eggs and toast ok though.
Front desk employees were friendly though and tried to figure out bus to the airport. But I ended up taking the taxi to the airport, and they ordered one that was $20.

No refund after the covid test results were sent. I paid for 3 nights and only stayed 1 night. This is absurd. I booked the Baymont for my 3 day mandatory quarantine because it was the cheapest at the time, not knowing that they would refuse to refund my 2 nights. Some of the hotels in Montreal that are used for Mandatory Quarantine are refunding guests, which says a lot about the Baymont not doing so.

Internet connection require manual registration every while (15 or 30 minutes) which is inconvenient. the next door room is separated by door and you can hear the next door resident voice clearly !. Staffs were nice, polite and friendly. The room was clean.

Don't be fooled by the fancy looking lobby furniture, this hotel is dingy and damp. The windows didn't open so the room was very damp and muggy. The towels were dirty, the tv had 10 channels of nothing, the plugs didn't even work with our device chargers and the awful fluorescent lighting in the bedrooms was just the cherry on the cake.
This hotel is absolutely in the middle of nowhere surrounded by truck entrances to what seems to be a business park, and a taxi to the airport will still cost you $25-$30 for about a 10 minute ride because THERE IS NO AIRPORT SHUTTLE as advertised.
We were stuck in this prison of a hotel due to a flight cancellation and when we went to get our free breakfast, they followed us back to the room only to take it back from us because it wasn't covered in our stay, and told us to go to Tim Hortons (a 15 minute walk) or McDonalds (which I couldn't even find on Google maps). I was traveling with my husband, 3 year old and infant. They literally took food from a baby.
So horrible we checked out early to leave for the airport 10 hours before our flight.

Avoid this place at all costs. its is essentially a scam. I booked the night before (11:00 at night) to try and reserve parking. when I showed up they made me pay again ($37) for parking and said I was a no show and charged me ($128) for a room I didn't use. obviously they weren't going to sell that room at 11:00 at night and when I came in at 11:00 in the morning they had my money and were happy to keep it because of their scam policy. Not to mention the hotel is dilapidated and should be torn down. There is no shuttle to the airport as advertised and the parking lot itself is an absolute mess. Run far and run fast. The manager (Jaz) was who I dealt with.

Everything about this visit was a nightmare. We called from the airport and the hotel confirmed the reservation but said they have no shuttle. Though they mention a shuttle 24/7 on their website in bold.

We had to wait over 5 hours. After the long wait , to our horror we are told there is no reservation. Inspite of being charged fully in advance. The front staff an Asian guy who didnt give his name was quite rude and would not listen at all

My parents are over 70 and we had to haul all our luggage and spent a fortune on cans

Not sure what is going on. Our reservation was cancelled even after we paid fully. We were asked to get that refund and book another room at an exorbitant rate. I wonder if it is a scam

All in all..a horrible experience. There seems to be no management and it is chaos. Not the way you want your trip to start

Avoid it any cost

I have written to management but no response

As far as I understand each hotel is independently owned and operated. However, I am surprized that the Wyndham Group has not replied to my posting. I was in a rush to book and thus did not check Trip Advisor first as upon later review I note that my posting is not alone.
