Had a great experience at this hotel. The staff were great, it had a great location, included breakfast buffet which was simple but good, our room was pretty good and well priced (especially considering the location). Building is a bit old but it adds to the charm!

Although we had to wait quite a while to check in while the agent was on the phone, we found this hotel to be a good choice. Arrived very tired and a bit wet on a rainy day, We chose a "budget room" which was located outside the main building. It was small and looked exactly like the online picture....

Spend a week in Montreal staying at Jardin d'Antoine in a standard room taking advantage of third nights at a reduced rate. Room was large enough, very clean and well-designed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Local beers and wine available. Breakfast included Fairmont bagels and scrambled eggs. Usually walked to restaurants--including BoullionBilk, a special treat--and museums. The Auberge is...

We chose this small hotel because of its location and reasonable price and were not disappointed. True, it did not have an elevator and it was strangely configured (we had to step outside on the second floor to reach our room), but the breakfast was plentiful and tasty with hot and cold choices; the room was quiet, comfortable and large...

Dear Guest Thank you for your comment. It is very pleasant to read ! Some rooms are, in fact, accessible through our exterior corridors (as described on our web site) There is only one 24/7 staffed entrance to the hotel. We thank you again. We look forward to welcome you back. Best regards Marc-André Ladouceur Manager and co-owner

We stayed one night in August 2014 and as with most hotel experiences there are pros and cons. On the pro side we thought the staff were very nice, the breakfast was quite substantial and tasty, the room was very clean, the hotel was quiet and felt comfy, and the Wifi and all other services worked flawlessly. On the con...

Dear Guest Thank you for your comment. We are glad you liked your stay with us in general appreciating the staff – breakfast – cleanliness – quietness and services. This hotel is built in an old house (dating from 1900) renovated in a 25 rooms hotel. We are not a modern-style looking hotel; we offer a rural look with modern...

I stayed at the Auberge le Jardin d'Antoine in June 2014. I stayed in one of the garden rooms at street level facing the back of the hotel. The staff were very courteous and helpful. My first night there they gave me a card where I get a square meal under $40 which includes appetizer, main course, desert, cocktail and...

Dear Guest Thank you for your nice comment. We are glad you liked your stay with us. I precise that the card we gave you is a deal negotiated for our guests at the restaurant called Le Pelerin Magellan. We negotiated various discounts at other restaurants for our guest as well. I am surprised at your comment on TV channels...

It was our first time in Montreal and after being pampered in a charming Old Quebec B&B, we were a little concerned after arriving to the B&B: litter in the street, young beggars in the corner and a gentleman club across the street. But after a while we became used to Latin Quarters neighborhood with it's restaurants and entertainments and...

Dear Guest Thank you for your comment. I am glad you enjoyed location (after a while, you are right Montreal is not old Quebec but we do have plenty to offer !) and breakfast at our hotel. Our junior suite with the jacuzzi bath in the bedroom (room 32 the only one with the jacuzzi in the bedroom) fits effectively...

We arrived in the evening to the lively sounds of the Oumf festival. Our taxi couldn't deliver us to the door because of the street closure, but fortunately it was a downhill walk with our luggage! The hotel staff were very welcoming, and it was a cosy atmosphere from the start - information leaflets and general office clutter abounded in...

Right in the Latin quarter this auberge is nicely situated in the Old Town. A few minutes walk from the bus station which helped us. Staff is very helpful and friendly and local restaurants give you plenty to choose from. We had a back room which was very quiet which I think was fortuitous as there is a busy road...

Staying in Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)

Neighbourhood Profile
Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)
Named for the Olympic Stadium complexes built for the 1976 games, the Olympic Park and the surrounding neighbourhood of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa) make up an invigorated area dedicated to "Space for Life." Around the Olympic Village's arenas and stadiums, Rue Sherbrooke welcomes exploration of its sculpture gardens decorated in the works of Jean-Paul Riopelle and its museum culture headed by the historical Château Dufresne. Maisonneuve Park offers interactive experiences at its bio-dome, insectarium, planetarium, and botanical gardens. For a change of scene, the gentrified space along Rue Ontario Est is packed with the city's newest, edgiest cafes, where an imaginative, youthful crowd sips foamy cappuccinos. A visit here is incomplete without stepping into the vast halls of the Maisonneuve Market, with flower stalls, wine depots, and local produce.
