During January and February the rates are great, and the location is perfect to access downtown Montreal and take advantage of the underground city. It was cold and snowed one day and we explored the city without a jacket or mittens! Very relaxing stay!

Great location and easy walking distance to everything. Pool is incredible however would be nice if it was open until midnight. Room was nice and clean. Staff were lovely. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return.

I chose this hotel based on their outdoor, rooftop pool and it made my trip. Sitting in the hot tub and swimming at night outdoors in winter was an experience I won’t forget. All the staff, from the reception desk to the room cleaners were friendly, courteous and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Having access to the underground mall system was great for getting around. We walked to the Montreal museum of art, and to Old Montreal from the hotel. It is in an excellent downtown location. We drove, but the train station is connected by underground tunnels within a ten minute walk to the hotel.

It feels like a boutique hotel because of its layout with the outdoor pool and hot tub as a year round bonus feature. The hotel is close to the rail station and underground city where everything connects .....a real plus in winter weather!

LGBTQ+ friendly, the king bed was very confortable and the room was clean. The pool and the spa was great. The tv was not centered with the bed and was stuck to the floor so we couldn't moved it. Also, it was not a smart tv, and nothing available at reception for watching a movie of our choice. But for the pool and the relaxation moment, i highly recommend it!

We picked the Bonaventure for the pool and location. The staff were all great. The year round heated pool was a nice touch. We enjoyed the ease of getting in and out of the parking garage and we could easily walk around Montreal on the streets or by popping into the Underground City tunnels.

We booked primarily at this hotel because there was supposed to be an outdoor “heated” pool. It was cold, and there was only one spa available. Normally we go to Gatineau and stay at the lovely Hilton Lac-Leamy. Their beautiful outdoor salt water heated pool is warm! But no…..we decided to stay closer to home and go downtown for the New Years Eve festivities. Big mistake. Nothing is worse than going into a cold pool. And every single person in the spa was griping about it

We booked for two reasons, location and pool. It is close 10-15min walking from historical centre and good relaxation after long walking in the pool. Hotel is located at 10 level, so it is a good view from the window.
