The hotel is like a rabbit warren and at times is difficult to navigate around, however, the staff are lovely and the rooms were big and comfortable. Room service (we had this on the first night due to arriving quite late) was excellent. Guy, the breakfast host was a true highlight and made breakfast fun and entertaining and was a...

Agree with recent positive reviews so won't repeat. But wanted to give heads up of a couple of things. 1. The lobby is on the 26 floor. Very surprised and a bit disoriented when we pulled up to check in 2. Lots of construction going on outside. We didn't hear anything but double check as it looks like a major...

Building is ugly and hotel check-in is on the top floor. Hotel is basically the top two floors of the building. Needed to get combo tickets to the Tower and Biodome and front desk told us they are available at a discount. When I went to purchase tickets from the concierge she was missing for about 20 minutes. When she...

This hotel was one of the nicest hotels that I've ever stayed at! The entire hotel (including the rooms) was very modern and updated. The pool area was beautiful and a decent size but I wish it stayed open later. The hotel has a very nice garden area with seating for several hotel guests to sit and have drinks and...

On the plus side, the staff are super helpful and friendly, that goes a long way nowadays. Pool area is nice and clean. On the negative side, I found the rooms to be of average quality, I had a garden view room which looked onto a hedge, the room was dark and gloomy. Credit to the staff who were willing...

I booked this hotel as a fairly last minute change of mind and did so for two reasons - primarily because of its location ot the VIA train station but also because they had a sale on their web site. The location is excellent if arriving by train as it is literally just across the road from the station. There...

As a wheelchair user I cannot recommend this hotel. Most doors are not automatic nor have a button to open them automatically. The so-called handicapped room was spacious enough but the bathroom was totally NOT accessible. I could not enter with my wheelchair. The restaurant was very basic. Don't expect a romantic candlelit dinner...The pool looked very nice and after...

Lovely hotel in downtown Montreal. The room and bath are spacious, well appointed and very clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I especially enjoyed the lovely pool and garden setting right in the middle of the city. Proximity to shopping and great restaurants was also a real plus.

Super review! Thank you very much for your great feedback! We hope to welcome you back soon, shopping is great in our city during winter because we are connected to the underground city. You should try it!

This hotel is really nice. We had everything we needed. Our favourite part was the heated pool on the roof. This hotel is located right downtown close to a lot of restaurants and shops. The rooms were clean and the staff was helpful.

this might come to a surprise to you, they do not advertise this but the Bonaventure is no longer a Hilton Hotel. It was a surprise to us checking in on June 20th! It is still a nice place but be aware the Bar Prices are rather "large".

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
