This is the perfect hotel location to walk Montreal! It's walking distance to old Town and subways are walking distance if you want to travel out. The train station is adjacent so we're taking it to Quebec City for a few days. The hotel a d staff are really nice! The Roselyn restaurant for breakfast is superb! Had the eggs Benedict and avocado toast. The gym is really nice. This hotel is busy with tour and convention guests which did not bother us. I would definitely stay here again. You don't need a car to get around. The hotel is accessible to the underground restaurants and shopping.

Room Tip: If taking taxi from airport, pay cash in Canadian. Taxis don't like credit cards and try to scam...

The Fairmount always puts in more effort than other hotel brands to ensure your stay is perfect. Great location in the same building as the train station . Recently renovated with beautiful decor. Easy online check-in and check-out.

With what looked like an hour plus line to check in at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon we were lucky enough to have booked as Accor members and had a short wait in line. But our room wasn't ready and was told we would have to wait to be texted when it would be ready. Even though checkin is supposed to be 4:00 it's now 4:45 we had to change our plans for dinner since we didn't have ability to get ready by that time. By 6:00 we still hadn't received a text so we went back to the Accor checkin desk and were told that the room was ready but had been forgotten to let us know... Clearly the Fairmont was not ready to open up fully and rather than reduce the intake to match the staff you took as many customers as possible and now have displeased clients for life. Will not go back to Fairmont Montreal and will stick to smaller boutique hotels, of which there are many in Montreal.

I am really disappointed with our stay. We expected more of the brand. The location is great but the hotel seems old and in need of some renovation. The biggest problem though was how small the rooms are, the smallest I have been in this side of the Atlantic. They also did not have on site self parking, and valet was all full, not that I would have used it anyway. Had to park behind the hotel across the street which was not convenient or at the parking meters on the main road across the street (free after 6 on weekends if you can find a convenient spot). Luckily Montreal is a relatively safe city. The pool was also disappointing. It was very small and at a lower level than the main floor with no natural lighting. The gym looked well equipped though. I would definitely not stay there again especially that we have tried almost every other 4 star hotel in the area and they have all been better in those areas.

Completely unacceptable check in. Mines so long and only three people at the desks. Then no parking on site. Had to go to a sketchy lot across the road. Would not let us take a cart to load our things to take up. Then an equally long line (like over half an hour) for elevator to your room. All this and we haven’t even gotten into our room. I expect a heck of a lot more from a Fairmont and to think this was an anniversary gift get away. Will pick elsewhere next time.

Stayed for one night. They let us check in early which was great. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very convenient location next to the train station (took the via from Toronto). Great central location.

We booked this hotel for our 10 year anniversary. We paid far too much and got very little. We were traveling with our dog and our room felt downgraded from what we had selected because of this. I picked a rate that allowed us to check out late but unfortunately we couldn't make use of this so I asked at check in if we could change. The lady said late check out was just an option and didn't affect our rate. If that was the case I would have picked the rate 50$ cheap at booking. We were charged for mini bar items we never consumed. I needed to have an item stored in a fridge during the stay, because rooms have those stupid mini bars that track all the items. I asked the front desk staff and they were useless. Luckily the runners had a fridge and allowed me to use it. Never received additional information or items which we typically receive while traveling with our dog. Recently stayed at another hotel in Montreal for half the price and 5x better service. Will stay away from Fairmont hotels in the future.

We had a fun and comfortable stay to celebrate a birthday and Mother's Day. The room was a touch small but work well for what we needed. It was clean, lovely design, nice people work there. And you should not force people to write 200min characters in your reviews. It's annoying.

Stayed at the Fairmont for the WPO Conference and had a great stay! Lovely hotel, comfortable accommodations, kind staff. Also enjoyed that it was located in a walkable area. Could walk to restaurants, shops, and attractions easily when I had a break to go outside.
