Gorgeous hotel in a perfect location. Close to many restaurants and near the metro and bus stops. We arrived early in the morning to drop off our bags and we were greeted my Carol. She is an absolute doll. She showed us a map and gave us some ideas of things we could do. She also told us all about the history of the house, we really enjoyed chatting with her. The room we had was very spacious & clean. Nice little bathroom with a phenomenal shower. The hotels breakfast was nice. Don’t forget to try the pastries! They also have a neat wine dispenser, we didn’t end up using it but it looked lovely, nice little selection with very good prices. To top all that off the nightly rate is very affordable.

This was just the authentic Montreal experience we were looking for. Charming and cozy and welcoming (but very spacious!) atmosphere. Our room was surprisingly large (queen bed and futon, tall ceilings), had GORGEOUS brick walls and authentic vintage French decor (complete with little chandeliers),microwave, fridge, and jacuzzi tub! (which was so appreciated after walking all day). The staff went above and beyond several times (but in a relaxed and unpretentious way). I have celiac disease (can't touch gluten) and they were very accommodating for breakfast, and made suggestions for restaurants. We just felt so relaxed and welcome here. Everything felt like home, or better!!

I stayed here with a friend for 4 nights over the Labor Day weekend and this was a perfect place for our stay. The value is insane! Lovely rooms with a great breakfast daily and service that goes above and beyond. Everyone is so kind and attentive from attraction ideas to a fan for the room when my friend felt a bit warm (note: the rooms do not have individual HVAC controls). A really nice perk was they did make up the room daily which has become less and less common post pandemic. The location is also perfect for anything you'd want to do in Montreal. When I come back, I would absolutely stay here again!

I spent three nights at Manoir Sherbrooke with my mother. It is in a convenient location - within walking distance to restaurants, downtown, Old Montreal, and also very convenient to buses and the subway (bus stop is right out front). Our room had two twin beds which was perfect for our needs. Having breakfast in the hotel was an easy way to start the day. One thing to note for anybody who has difficulty with stairs is that there are a few stairs to get to the front door, and no elevator in the hotel. My mother is 85 and managed well, but I was mindful that if she were a few years older this may have been an issue for her (however, there are railings on the stairways and there are rooms on the first floor).
The most notable thing for me was the professionalism and friendliness of every staff member we interacted with. I felt that it was genuinely important to them that we enjoy our stay.
I would definitely stay at Manoir Sherbrooke again, and my mother commented that she would stay there again as well.

We had two nights here, our flight from the UK was delayed by a couple of hours which meant we did not arrive at the hotel until near midnight, but it was not a problem since reception is open 24hrs a day.
We had a standard room which was on the small side, but it was clean, comfortable and well decorated....and yes the stairs are a challenge if you have big heavy cases as we did.
Our room was on the front of the building which for some may be a problem as the road outside is reasonably busy and a bit noise comes with that.
The breakfast was perfect for us, continental and in adequate quantities.
Coffee and tea is available 24/7.
The hotel is an easy 15 min walk to the edge of the old town and heading in the opposite direction the edge of the park is 20 mins away.
There are numerous eateries close by in Rue St Laurent.
All staff were friendly and helpful.
We flew in late and a taxi from the airport, which cost us $55 to the hotel and took about 20mins.
When we left Montreal we got a taxi from the hotel to the central railway station which cost £15.
This is a very nice small boutique type hotel and is a pleasant place to stay.

Hotel Manoir Sherbrooke is a well located boutique hotel that was once three side by side historic row homes. Every room is unique and the care put into maintenance shows. The staff is friendly, caring and competent. We were easily able to walk or Uber to the events and areas of Old Montreal we planned to visit... Mount Royal, the Waterfront, the Markets, the Arts Centre, Notre Dame... The surrounding neighbourhoods boasted quite an array of restaurants and shops. The daily buffet breakfast provided at Hotel Manoir Sherbrooke was excellent, varied and plentiful. When back in Montreal I would not hesitate to stay here again.

My wife and I have been coming here for several years now and we love it. Very charming and comfortable place and the owner is and staff are excellent.
The location is ideal for us because it’s very close to old Montreal, shopping on Saint Catherine/ St. Laurent or just going to Prince Arthur for lunch.
The room rates are good for a downtown hotel and most of the time we get parking space just outside of the hotel.

Look forward to returning in 2024.

Thank You
Ben and Kathy Stiavnicky

I spent two nights at Manoir Sherbrooke.

Room was extremely clean on my arrival. A bit small, but quite sufficient for one or two people. I had my own private bathroom which was also very clean. There was a television inside the room, air conditioning and lots of space to store my belongings.

The hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel was previously different Victorian mansions.

The place where you have breakfast is very nice and nicely decorated. You can choose your breakfast the day before. There is two breakfast options: sweet or savory.

You get the breakfast delivered to your table in the breakfast room. The savory option consists of bread, boiled eggs, yogurt and granola. There was even creton which were included! It was very filling and a great way to start the day.

You can also have coffee, tea, orange juice and there is a huge fruit bowl where you can pick something.

I could store my luggage at the reception after I checked out of the hotel on my last day.

Price was very affordable.

So overall, a fantastic stay in Montreal! I would go back there anytime.

We enjoyed our stay at Manoir Sherbrooke. Finding accommodation from afar is like rolling dice, and we certainly lucked out by staying here. Our room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was far more than we expected and gave us a nourishing start to the day. Best of all was the staff, friendly and personable, who made us feel at home, and were knowledgeable about Montreal.
Once we understood the mechanics of the transit system, we were able to navigate our way around the city from this location. The Metro (subway) is clean, fast and efficient, the easiest way to move around Montreal. While Sherbrooke Street is the longest in Montreal and heavily trafficked, our room was quiet.
The stairs to our downstairs room are steep and need a handrail for support.
