This place was the perfect perch for my daughter’s birthday weekend visiting friends in montreal and reconnecting with the city where we used to live. Them staff were welcoming with lovely orange mint green tea in the lobby, and the room was sleekly designed and restful with loads of space to welcome friends for a chat after dinner (and complimentsry chocolates and mineral waters offered for our marriott loyalty by the hotel). Great pool, breakfast,location, but most of all great feeling of being welcomed and cared for!

Overall, this was an excellent hotel with all the amenities required to make travellers of all shades - business, solo and couples - comfortable. While the staff were always professional, I found them a bit too serious and lacking real warmth. The rooms are large and have nice views, and the location is very convenient for access to the city, airport and outlying areas. For elite members, I found the lounge offerings to be a bit sparse although the complimentary breakfast option offered to platinum+ members more than made up for it. Room service is also of excellent quality. It’s becoming my go-to hotel in Montreal.

We stayed for a couple nights while in town for a hockey game. We have only positives to share. Parking was very easy and convenient, one of the best showers we have ever experienced in a hotel, decor slightly dated but extremely clean, deluxe king room was massive, central location and easy to access via vehicle or transit, excellent free wifi connection, mini fridge available in room, tons of different wires/ports for computer connection if you’re travelling for business, and all rooms had a large balcony which is quite rare. We would stay here again next time we are in Montreal.

Enjoyed my stay at the Delta. The location is central and we walked everywhere including to the McGill Convocation. Check in was quick and there are many lounge areas. The rooms, bathroom, bedding and towels were clean and the bed was super comfortable with a selection of pillow types (Typical of the Marriott hotels that I have stayed in). The food in the restaurant is very good. Breakfast is better in the restaurant. I ordered breakfast through room-service for breakfast and did not enjoy the Starbuck selection; and the coffee was cold. I do not know if this is typical or because of Covid, the level of services was limited. The view depends on which room you are in. Loved the view of Mount Royal from the room my siste and husband were in. My view was of Rue Presiden Kennedy. Overall a great stay.

Very disappointed with our stay. The reception staff weren’t very informative or pleasant. Only a few were friendly and had smiles. We didn’t feel welcome. We arrived late with a baby and upon arrival to our room not only did we not have a crib (as requested) the sofa chair was full of pet hair, and the bed was very creaky. Every time one of us moved during the night we would wake the other one up. After a long trip, all we wanted to do was sleep so we didn’t call to ask for a crib or room upgrade at that time. After speaking with the reception staff the following day, they didn’t even apologize that they didn’t provide a crib. They said they would let housekeeping know and send someone up to check the bed. I have to say, these 2 issues were resolved very quickly and we were impressed with the turnaround. However, the crib was filthy from previous guests so we didn’t even use it. It is not okay to not provide something for a customer if they request it. If a crib was unavailable the previous night,understandable, but then they need to let the guest know. Our room door was very hard to open. At one point we thought we were locked in the room because the door was jammed. My husband had to forcefully open it from the inside. If I was alone I wouldn’t have the strength to open it. Another issue we experienced was with the parking. We paid extra for parking when we booked our room and our parking in&out card did not even work. Based on the great reviews we were expecting more of a seamless stay rather than the hassles we experienced.

We wanted a suite hotel for our family (two adults, two teens) vacation to Montréal, but could not find one. I was worried a room with two queen beds in the same room would be too small, so I was really surprised and pleased with the size and comfort of our room at the Delta Marriott.
The unusual shape of the room gives you a large bathroom with tub/shower and a long sink counter; a small vestibule with closet (that also provides privacy between the bathroom and bedroom); a small sitting area with a luggage rack, long desk with desk chair, small fridge, and an easy chair; plus a little space on the far side of the sleeping area. This set-up gave each of us our own space to keep our luggage/things, so we were not tripping over each other. The beds were comfortable with huge pillows and the Wi-Fi was good.
A bonus was that on Thursday night, we could see part of the Montréal fireworks show from our balcony and windows. This was through the windows of a building across the street, so not as good as an unobstructed view, but still a pleasant surprise. I wonder if other rooms had an even better view (we were 1805 so maybe a room to the right?)
The location was also great. We walked to Vieux Montréal for touristy things, to the Rue St Catherine shopping area, to Schwartz’ and the shopping in that area, and to nearby restaurants like Tiamo (pizza) and Carré (upscale French modern). Plus there are metro stops and a bus line within two blocks, including access to the underground.

Stayed here during the Canadian Grand Prix in June 2022. Conveniently located near two subway stations. The rooms are clean, sound proof and well appointed, as one would expect from a Delta.
Two reasons for only giving it a 4/5:
1. As a Bonvoy member, I booked directly with the hotel. When I went to check-in at 7pm I was told that my room wasn't ready (super disappointing). Meanwhile the other groups I was traveling with, who booked their two rooms through Expedia, were given club level rooms with fantastic views and balconies. I ended up getting an incredibly basic room on a low floor. Clearly I should book with Expedia next time!
2. The food services . The hotel bar was consistently either full or closed (even though the hotel website said they were supposed to be open). I ordered room service for breakfast and it was served in plastic containers, like an ubereats delivery. Incredibly underwhelming and made the food super soggy. The Delta may want to rethink this strategy as it really cheapens the experience and the quality of the product.

Stayed for the long weekend. Hotel was busy but service was quick, from the checkin to the restaurants and overall room service was quite good. Interacted with several staff members during our stay and everyone was very nice and attentive.
The lounge is on the 23rd floor and has a great view of the city; lounge service was outstanding (Emilio was very helpful and friendly !!!) - the hotel is well located and short distance to shopping areas.
Our room was very large with a nice balcony (too cold to enjoy but in the spring / summer should be a great place to sit and relax)

Overall hotel super clean really enjoyed the amenities such as the pool and gym. The continental breakfast was good though unfortunately they ran out of some food items and it took 10 minutes to replenish. Overall really nice hotel.

Stayed at this place for the first time recently and can't wait to go back. The hotel has a parking garage directly underneath, very convenient. Check in was seamless; my member room preferences were followed perfectly and I had a corner room up high, away from the elevator, with a great view and a balcony to boot !
The hotel is in the heart of downtown, but still close enough to walk to the old part of town. The hotel bar is on the mezzanine level as well as an excellent breakfast ; the waffles with black cherry compote is highly recommended. Can't wait to return !

The Club Lounge is open 24 hours. During the week, breakfast starts at 6:00 I think and later around 7-7:30 on weekends. Eggs, cold and warm meats, cheeses, fruits and juices. A nice variety. At 5:00 to 7:00 for supper they serve hot dishes such as falafel, chicken and delicious desserts. Everything was tasty, hot and the view superb! Snacks and munchies the rest of the time. The personnel attending to the guests are wonderful btw!
There are more places to choose from in the Montreal area.
