I stayed there on January 2011 for three weeks and found a very cozy and comfortable room to stay in the cold Montreal's winter.
The owner is a really great guy and it's very nice to practice some French with him. He was very helpful during the whole time he hosted me.
The apartment is located at the heart of the Plateau Montréal which is one of the nicest neighborhoods to stay in the city. The closest metro station is Mont Royal which is very handy since it's only one block away from the apartment. Staying there you'll be close to the Parc Mont Royal, several bars, restaurants, and lots of useful services.

We stayed one night at this very cute home around Mount Royal. Yannick was extremely nice and helpful and even gave us metro passes. There is lots of info on the city at his place, and it is conveniently located close to the metro station and in a trendy area close to shops and restaurants. Yannick's place is extremely clean, the beds are very comfortable, and there's lots of fun decor. Highly recommended!
