This is a brand new property located in an up and coming neighborhood. Don’t let the location – alongside a busy highway – dissuade you. It is walking distance from the metro, buses, and several good restaurants. A new Starbucks and small but well stocked supermarket are literally across the street. The room itself was extraordinarily clean and well-equipped. Very tall windows let in a lot of light, but no noise. Lots of hot water and adequate water pressure. The service is where we found the biggest swing in quality. The front desk staff were incredibly responsive and personable – especially when I had a problem with the first room I checked into (the A/C was not functioning, and it was a very hot day). And even when the hotel was full and had a wedding going on (which seemed to be every single day of my one week stay), they never let the demanding crowds get to them, and were always professional and helpful. On the other hand, housekeeping was a mess. The messaging regarding what was to be provided did not align with what was actually provided. And when I did ask to have the room made up, they never came when promised despite having confirmed it with the front desk (had to follow up each time to get them to service the room late in the day), and it seemed that all they did was make the bed, clean the bathroom, and run a vacuum cleaner. They did not replace any towels, soap, any kitchen necessities (dishwashing pods, paper towels), nor did they empty the trash. And we saw the same uncollected trash in front of another room for a few days in a row. Though I will deduct one star from what would have been a 5-star review because of the housekeeping, I will also say that a) it is a new property and they are still trying to work out the kinks, and b) the manager told me they were trying to deal with mixed messaging coming from Hilton corporate. Though that’s still no excuse for the housekeeping service itself (or lack thereof). Another area where the hotel shines is the Italian restaurant Blandino. We ended up eating there three times during the week we were there (and just for cocktails twice more) – the food, service, and atmosphere are all stellar. The cocktail menu has some unique offerings, done very well. The new Mexican restaurant was not yet open. We did not try the free hotel breakfast, though from what we could see it was plentiful, had variety, and people seemed to be enjoying it. The gym is large and very well-equipped for a hotel of this class. There was a maximum number of people permitted in the small pool, but that wasn’t being enforced, nor were any time limits with a large family monopolizing it for one afternoon we decided to try it. All in all, I would definitely return here the next time I’m in Montreal.

Brand new building, looks and feels it. Rooms are big and comfortable, love the windows that looked out onto the mountain. Terrific service from everybody there. This is a new area that is being developed, feels very modern. look forward to coming back when we can enjoy the restaurants and sit outside on the terraces of the hotel. Due to Covid, it was a box breakfast which was okay. Not downtown, but very good value and easy to get into the city especially if you have a car. There is shopping and restaurants nearby.

Noisy inconsiderate party hotel! Not what I was expecting. The staff does not tell you that there will be loud parties in the hotel with flashing lights and cars honking and fireworks that keep you up at night!! Many guests were upset and complained. Manager was absent and front desk staff did nothing. DJ was so loud I heard him on the street outside the hotel! Even neighbors down the street were outside their house looking at the hotel and wondering what was going on. Lights from party even flashed in my room! Even the police were called because it was so awful. Hotel staff said it was all legal and there was nothing they could do. If you want a family friendly quiet hotel go somewhere else without loud drunken party goers.

Dear Guest We were sorry to hear that you encounter noise issues during your recent stay with us. The hotel was hosting a small wedding on our outdoor Terrace adjacent to our Ballroom. The event did have a DJ, which was playing music until 10pm. Our Banquet manager was on property to ensure that the volume was at an acceptable level. All music on the Terrace stopped after that time and was limited to only indoors. Police did arrive on property as some neighbours were caught off guard by the music on the Terrace, but quickly left as the venue and noise was not out of control. In fact, the hotel had managed the event quite well. We can assure you that we are not a Party hotel and do apologise if your stay was disrupted by the event on our Terrace. We have not received any complaints about any event that has taken place at the hotel, but will certainly share your feedback with our events team to ensure that issues like this one do no arise We hope that despite this we will have the privilege an please of being your hosts on a future stay in the area. Have these people ever run a hotel before? Too bad this hotel is so close to where my parents live. It’s convenience location wise will pull me back in to a disorganized poorly run establishment. The first time I tried to stay at this hotel back in July I arrived at 9 PM at night to find out that my room was still not ready with no promise of when it would be. All they could offer me was free parking as consolation. I left and found another place to sleep. I spoke to management and was promised that my next day would be much better. It was but not by much. Check-in is supposed to be at 3 PM and on August 21 it was not. I was finally able to get to my room at 5:30 PM after many phone calls to reception. There was a tumbleweed hairball on the floor of my room. When I arrived at 5:30 PM I felt very unsafe regarding Covid as the lobby was packed and the elevators were packed and there were some people not wearing masks. I was promised the 10th floor and ended up on the eighth floor and was kept up by noise from the floor above me. The layout of the room was very strange. The bathroom sink area was not in the bathroom. This was very inconvenient. There were no shower caps provided. I had to call down for one. There was a long black hair in the fridge. There were no glasses in the room for drinking water. The sheets were very rough and scratchy. The hotel is brand new so other than the hair tumbleweed, the rest of the hotel room Was properly cleaned. I had a reservation for a two night stay but after our first night we got a call asking how our stay had been and had to inform them that we were not leaving and had a reservation for a second night. They had to issue us a new key due to this mistake. We had to come in special to retrieve. How are digital key did not work on the first day. So the hopes for contactless How are digital key did not work on the first day. So the hopes for contactless check in did not happen. We had to go to the lobby to retrieve a analog key. We hope they get it together and will ask for a different room that hopefully has a bathroom sink in the bathroom as well as the top floor so we are not kept up by noise above us.Our room was also facing the train tracks which are a stone throw away and was also very noisy throughout the night. If this hotel wasn’t right across the street from where my parents live I would stay elsewhere.

Dear Guest, We were sad to hear that you encountered several issues during your stay with us. I can assure you that the issues you encountered do not reflect the way the hotel is managed but rather unfortunate and undeliberate series of events. We have already addressed all your comments with our team in an effort to ensure that we better the service we provide. As a brand new hotel, there will no doubt be periods of adjustments and it is definitely through our guest feedback that we will be able to improve. I do hope that we have the privilege and opportunity to see you back at the hotel on a future visit and while visiting your parents. I can assure you that the issues you have mentioned will not be duplicated on future stays Regards Nick D'Amico General Manager

The hotel staff were super welcoming and helpful. Our room was perfect. Everything was clean and tidy. The location of this hotel was perfect for our stay in Montreal! The only down side is was having to pay for parking, but it won’t deter me from visiting this hotel again in the future. Overall, this hotel was perfect!
