Best weekend ever! From the minute we arrived, Montreal was a special place and Le St. Suplice was fantastic. Can't wait to come back. Service was great, location was central to everything, concierge service was invaluable. Would recommend staying here to everyone.

On a recent trip through Ontario, Quebec and New York State we stayed in 6 different hotels, one of which was Le Saint-Sulpice. Of the 6 Le Saint-Sulpice was our favorite. The room was VERY spacious -- very comfortable bed (which we think was a Murphy bed that folded up - not sure), large sitting area, sink, refrigerator with enough...

We were thrilled with this hotel located near the Notre Dame cathedral. It is in the center of old town and an easy walk to the many terrific restaurants for which Montreal is known. Our room was spacious , comfortable and perfect in every way. The staff was outstanding, helpful and friendly. If I return to Montreal this is the...

Attended a small conference. Room was upgraded . Two bedroom suite was exquisite. Front desk, concierge, valet parking were superb. Breakfast ok. Lunch for a group was above average. Did not eat at restaurant. Lots of atmosphere but very modern rooms.

You cannot beat the location, next to Notre Dame and walking distance to SO many restaurants. We stayed in a Deluxe queen suite and enjoyed the large living room. The bedroom is small, with frosted glass doors to the living room. If you want to sleep before your partner, some light from the living room shines into the bedroom. It...

My husband and I stayed at the Le Saint-Sulpice five years ago on our honeymoon; we returned for our 5th anniversary and were a little disappointed to find that it was showing signs of wear. Pros: Quite, clean, good location, French doors that open to a small balcony (only certain rooms - we were in #618), comfortable bed, 25% off...

We loved our room at the Le Saint-Sulpice. The best part about our stay was the separate living room with large comfortable couch and electric fireplace. This all-suite hotel is very comfortable, spacious. The staff is friendly and responsive and went out of their way to meet our needs. Equally important, this hotel is in the heart of Old Montreal, with plenty of great night life and restaurants within an easy walk. The Science Center also is a short walk away. We certainly would look forward...

The rooms were modern and clean. The hotel staff was helpful in every way. The location could not have been better. It is near the cathedral. Pet friendly and family friendly, but still felt very adult. I would be the hotel I stay in again on my next visit to Montreal!

Amazing staff, so attentive and always helpful. The second we pulled up they were there helping us with our luggage and not at all in a pushy way. Hotel was clean, quiet and in the perfect location. Little kitchen worked out really well, always handy to have a fridge and a microwave.

Staying in Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)

Neighbourhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic centre of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its centre, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theatre.
