While this new hotel has many aspects that are very good, it has 1 major design flaw. Very nice lobby area, pleasant decor clean and modern. Small lobby bar and cafe service for breakfast which was good and friendly. Check in was a little slow but most hotels are similar these days. Well designed room with comfortable beds. Many plugs and ports in the room and a very good large working area. Great shower , large and good pressure.
Well located for ease of hitting the highways and connected to a residence inn. I stayed on the 5th floor and my colleague was on the 2nd floor.
We both met in the morning and had the same comment. “ did you hear other people taking while you were in your room last night.” We both did. In fact the trouble being that the neighbours for both of us were not noisey but the way the air duct system is you can hear voices from the vent above the head of the bed. The worst possible place when your trying to sleep. We asked another guest at breakfast who also had the same experience on another floor.
Same thing second night. All 3 of us not a coincidence.
I travel 50 nights a year for business and quiet is good, hearing other people talking in my room is a showstopper. This had all the aspects of a very good new hotel but can’t get past the voices coming out of the vents. I was worried about the noise from Decarie which was not an issue but other customers by no fault of their own were.

This is a new hotel and the room and amenities were excellent for the price. Service was also very good and underground parking was convenient. The only negative is that it does not have a lot of restaurants within easy walking distance and the nearby streets are quite busy. We did not walk to the metro but it was about a 10 minute walk on a busy street. We ended up eating at the restaurant in the Hilton next door which was very good but pricey. This is good for one night but would not recommend if you want to easily explore rest of Montreal.

I recently stayed at this property with family (wife, teen, toddler) in a double room. The experience overall was lacking, but with potential to be better...

The Room - The room was spacious enough, with plenty of space to put down a single camping mattress for the toddler. The bathroom was spacious, but lacked a fan, and the soap and shampoo bottles had all been pulled from the wall (still had their mounting hardware and adhesives on them), but was otherwise functional. The beds were comfortable and clean. It offered a small fridge and microwave that were appreciated but not mentioned on expedia.

Parking - The underground parking was tight and shared with the hotel next door, but still had plenty of spots over 2 levels. 15 dollars a day was reasonable.

Facilities - During my stay (Sat evening - Monday Morning) only one of the 2 elevators was functioning which added some wait time, but it wasn't too bad. We didn't avail ourselves of the pool or bistro, but they lobby was grand and stunning and clean.

The Staff - The staff were friendly and accommodating, though it usually took 2-3 times for a request to be fulfilled. Extra pillows and a blanket took 2 calls, and 2 room visits. Small sundries ( like toothbrush or band aids) were to be had at the front desk, but it seemed they were out, then someone else suddenly found them... I don't think all the staff were equally trained, but to be fair, we did ask a lot and in the end all our requests were satisfied, so top marks for staff to be sure.

I cant comment on the location as I am not familiar with Montreal, but it was an easy drive to the waterfront and similarly to the downtown business core for us, so all in all I suspect it's a fine spot.

Well considering this has only been open 7months I am surprised at the poor workmanship. The door to our room let in a beacon of light, it was so poorly fitted. The carpet was lifting, the toilet roll holder was installed wrongly so the toilet roll falls off. A panel above the bed was not painted, the desk under the tv was bubbling and lifting. The service was poor, the breakfast included in our package was kosher, it was not a great selection, cold boiled eggs, cold poached egg, dairy free yoghurt. Cereal was a good selection but no bowls to eat it out of, there was metal knives and spoons but no forks. Our second day we went down and it was closed with no notification thankfully the the hotel accommodated us into the bistro, which is amazing food and questionable service depending on who is on. On our final day a Saturday, it was open, but no electricity as it’s a day of rest. So no toast no coffee, wow again thankfully the reception supervisor accommodated us over the road at the Marriott residence inn.
Only one lift worked the whole time we were there. And outside the lift the luggage trolleys sat blocking the route for 2 full days.
Housekeeping …. It didn’t come around one day until 5pm and then when we said can you come back in 10minutes as we are going out then. We had already gotten towels brought up from the reception. The housekeeper stood in our door with her foot holding the door open with her arms crossed. Needless to say we grabbed our stuff and left imminently as we felt pressured. On our final day they didn’t come at all. We got back at 1600 and they hadn’t been so granted we put out do not disturb sign out.
It’s not all bad… the rooms are very spacious, the shower is huge with complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash that’s attached to the wall. The curtains are so thick and completely blockout. The TV displayed a welcome note, and we had a single bottle of water and nature valley bar. One between 2 of us…. The rooms are very tech savvy. With electric panels as you walk in and on one side of the bed. The hotel is really close to the Napur metro station, only 6 minute walking, and very cheap, plus fast to get to anywhere. We were staying in zone A throughout our stay, so bought a 3 day pass for $21.25 which was ideal.
Also this was our honeymoon and we had made them aware, they didn’t do anything, we weren’t asking for much, but a drinks voucher or a bottle of something would have made all the difference. We married in a UK Marriott and all they did was love heart petals and a bottle of Prosecco, a small gesture makes all the difference.

My wife and children stayed while visiting family in Montreal.
The hotel staff made my family feel unsafe in the hotel.
Both mornings they had the do not disturb sign on the door, and staff knocked loudly very early - waking the kids who were adjusting to the timezone change from the west coast.
The second time the hotel staff was pushing the door open while my wife had jumped out of bed and was holding it closed and repeatedly saying no.
Our family is fluent in French and English.
The hotel did not take any action to address this, apologize, etc.
We were extremely dissapointed and unhappy we chose to stay at this hotel.

We were booked in this hotel by Air Canada due to a missed connecting flight home, and we couldn’t be more pleased. The hotel is clean, and comfortable. As a previous reviewer said it is a little loud in the evening, but we were so tired that did not bother us. We did spend some time in the lobby bar/bistro and we had a fantastic experience there. A shout out to our server Eloy , who made us wonderful drinks (espresso martini is fantastic here) , and was kind, and really went above and beyond. In addition, the burger from the bistro was fantastic, you won’t be disappointed.

We just stayed at this hotel for one night and my 7yo daughter (we are terrible parents) forgot her bunny which she has slept with for the last 7 years. I called that night when we arrived home and then next day. The front desk was helpful and by the next day the housecleaner reported that they remembered seeing the bunny and threw it in the garbage. OMG! Why would they do that! There has been no help in trying to retrieve it and it has been awful having to deal with why someone would throw away a child's toy like that. We hope that the housekeeping has been told to never do that with any child's toy because it really means something to the child. It's traumatizing. like losing a loved one. I wish they could have gone the extra mile to say that they would go look in the garbage but they didn't. It could have been a good story and promo for this hotel. We won't be staying there again.

Very comfortable beds. The room and the bathroom were a good size. Lovely lobby with lots of places to sit and chat and quiet places to chat. Under ground parking. A place to get drinks and food in the lobby. The avocado toast was a disappointment. It tasted good but was small and instead of tomato slices it had two cherry tomatoes on top.

Checked in at 1 am. Cedrick was rude from the moment I walked in as he continued to speak to another staff member, ignoring me. He finally decided to acknowledge my arrival and had worse attitude. Said my check in would take longer (employee passport) and he proceeded to take 20 min to check me in. The next morning, I went to speak to the general manager, Sacha Miguel Yanez-Mas, as I voiced my disappointment at check in, he went on to threaten he would report me for not following check in procedure and he would write a formal complain. So much for hospitality, listening to a client’s concern and or threatening a guest. I have NEVER seen such disgusting behavior from any Marriott staff member as I experienced first hand in this experience. I will make sure to give a ZERO on GSS survey.
