Our hosts, Daniel and Petra couldn't have been nicer and really made our 4 day stay comfortable and enjoyable. Breakfast was particularly a good time for conversation with them and the other guests. It is why we love staying at a B&B. It is not located downtown but that actually was to our liking. There was good bus and uber transportation to wherever we wanted to go and restaurants within easy walking distance. Thanks Daniel & Petra.

The house and rooms are very cute and comfortable. The hosts were excellent and spent quite a while suggesting where we should visit and how to get there. We enjoyed not being in the middle of downtown/Old Montreal but pay attention to the location if those areas are your focus. They are quite close to the amazing Montreal Botanic Gardens, and we walked around the corner one night to a nice Indian restaurant. My only regret was that we didn’t have enough time to sit and read in “the living room”.

We stayed at Daniel and Petra’s A La Carte B&B for 5 nights a couple of weeks ago. They could not have been more welcoming…they made our trip…it was just like being at home! We were in the back bedroom…quiet, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Daniel made the breakfasts…each morning it was different and delicious! We chatted often with them, both before going out for the day and upon returning. Petra was very helpful in suggesting where to go and the buses and subways to use. Thank you, Daniel and Petra, for a totally lovely stay!!! You run a very professional and friendly B&B. Their B&B is one of the best ones we’ve ever been in! It was a delight for us to stay with them.

Our stay was just amazing. We had a lovely host couple that was so welcoming and nice. They had nice insider tips that were very helpful for our Montréal trip. The whole atmosphere was very familiar and exclusive. Also the breakfast was delicious. It was freshly made with local ingredients and was the perfect start in the day. Since it’s location is quite central you can use public transport for everything you want to do. We would come back here every time again.

Wow, what can I write in order to convince you that you have, just have, to stay at this magnificent b&b? Daniel & Petra created something magical. The atmosphere is so relaxing and both of them make you feel like you're at home in every moment: from explanations about the city during arrival, through impressive breakfasts and finishing with a spotless room. Just book it, this place is another reason to visit Montreal.

We just spent a delightful five nights at the A la Carte B&B and I couldn't recommend it more highly. Very comfortable accommodation. Unbelievable breakfasts. I am not a big breakfast person but I found myself eating everything put in front of me. And on top of that the hosts are so welcoming. And willing to help me with my French language acquisition. We will be back!

Amazing experience. Wonderful hosts. My wife and I enjoyed our stay at A la Carte during our recent first-time visit to Montreal. I cannot say enough about the hosts. Daniel and Petra are lovely human beings, very caring and extremely helpful. Petra's guidance regarding what, where, and how to visit sites in Montreal was a lifesaver. The location is close to everything and provides the quiet you need for your vacation. Food..Daniel's creations are just so delicious, and you will never get tired of his stories. Breakfast time talks are just so enriching. Staying at A la Carte added a beautiful dimension to our visit to Montreal. Thank you, Daniel, Petra...

This was our second time staying at A la Carte, and we felt as though we were visiting old friends. Petra and Daniel are truly remarkable hosts--charming, warm, and helpful--and we love dear aging M. Petit. We spent each morning chatting with our hosts and eating a delicious breakfast, and then set off to explore the city using the easily accessible bus and metro. The room (Julliard Suite) we stayed in is spacious and clean, and the neighborhood is full of shops, restaurants, and interesting streets and alleys to explore.

My best choice for my adventure trip with my Daughter, I felt as at home with Family, Petra and Daniel are very kind people and as hosts very nice and professional. Everything is clean, the decoration of the room is perfect, they offer abundant and delicious breakfast. Petra suggested me the places to visit and explained the way to get there. The cherry on the cake, "Monsieur Pettit " such an adorable dog. For sure we will come back in the future. I highly suggest.
