Standard hotel in downtown Montreal. Very good position, 5 mins of walking you get Quartier Latin full of restaurants and pubs. Rooms cleaned, wide tv, personnel very kind, breakfast standard (no possibility to choose the kind of thè or availability of fresh fruits).
This is our second time staying at Le Roberval and we've decided that this is the place we'll book from now on, for visits to Montreal. After a bad experience with airbnb, we cut short our stay and found that Roberval had rooms available. The...More
I would tend toward 3 1/2 stars. We chose this because kitchenettes were available. Although the front two burners of the stove did not work, the rest of the appliances were fine. I was a bit disappointed that the only air conditioner was in the...More
Had an ok stay at the hotel. Room had a sink and microwave in the room. The room self was resonably large. But e important thing: it was clean. The hotel is close to restaurants. The staf at frontdesk was friendly.

Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young
professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
