Convienently located, good price, and very well kept hotel. Friendly staff and good breakfast included. I would stay here again. Parking garage entrance/exit was difficult. Glad I had a very small car!
The hotel is located at the intersection of Rene-Levesque E and Berri - one block away from the major Metro station UQAM-Berri, and very close to the Old Montreal (Vieux-Montréal) and to Latin Quarter. Also, it is less then ten minutes away by walking from...More
This was my second stay at the Roberval--and I expect to stay again in the future! I stayed in a small suite--very comfortable, with a nice little kitchen area which separated the bedroom and the small living room. The staff was very polite and helpful...More
The hotel itself seemed dated but clean. The room was nice and large with a microwave and fridge which was really nice. Free WiFi was a nice plus too. The location was great for walking around Old Montreal, convenient to restaurants, and close to the...More
I have stayed at Hotel Le Roberval four times over the past 8 years, most recently earlier this month in September 2011. The location is still great (one long block from the Berri-UQAM Metro station) and the hotel staff is very courteous and helpful.
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young
professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
