My Sister's and I stayed at Hotel 10 and we have to compliment the great service and friendly manner of Fritz and Ben. Fritz was always there to help with our horrible French, give us directions, restaurant ideas and always greeted us with his wonderful smile. Ben handled what could have been an unpleasant situation a positive one. Thank you...

First- this hotel puts you in the middle on Rue dSaint Lauraint, which is where the quebekers shop and live. Full of cafes and restaurants and vintage shops and art galleries...like being in the middle of Noho or the east village in NYC. Walk north to Rue MontRoyal for more great shops, restaurant and cafes. If you walk south you'll...

Great location! The overall service of the hotel was average. We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights looking to have a great relaxing experience during the long weekend holiday. Upon arrival, we were offered an upgraded room which included a bathtub. The hotel lacks personality compared to other boutique hotels in Montreal (i.e. W Montreal, Le Germain...). They have...

Rooms were nice and comfortable. Our room was on the quiet side, but we could feel the bass from the club. Didn't keep us from sleep. Hotel is within walking distance of many bars, restaurants, parks, and a few metro stops. Wifi was free, but weak. We requested a late check out because we had a late flight. They kindly...

Stayed at hotel 10 for one night as part of an organised trip. We were given a room away from the disco, which was good. Cant fault the facilities. Bed was comfortable and shower was fab! The decor, with concrete ceiling and black walls was rather depressing. Breakfast was ok. A good stay but wouldn't like to stay more than...

I found the guest service to be excellent, the hotel also has a town car and will drive you along the restaurants and bars at no charge, they even have caramel popcorn at the front desk. I stayed at the hotel for a week and they have great fitness equipment. My room was very large and also included h20 body...

In Montreal for business, stayed at the 10..great location, easy access to the business district and short walk to Rue St Denis for restaurant choices. Great bed....and huge bathroom with great shower. Clean and freshly redecorated...would stay again. Breakfast buffet was ok...not great but adequate.

Sept 26 Staying here one night after disembarking the cruise ship, I can't fault this hotel and staff. After concluding that MTL hotels are relatively expensive in reference to my needs for one night, I got a reasonable rate through Priceline. Though a Clark St side room was not available at our 10:00 AM arrival, we were pleased with a...

Last minute business trip was booked at the Hotel 10 due to a sensible price and recommendation from company travel agent. Upon check in on a Sunday night the staff was very welcoming, informative, and professional. This hotel has a lot of things going for it in terms of design and location. It looks like it was uber cool when it opened, but has been well worn and not maintained to the highest of standards. Lots of scuffs, tears, paint chips and marks throughout make what could have been a hip design look dated and a...

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
