Great location. Rooms are nice but our bathroom had peeling paint and broken shower tiles, something I did not expect when paying $350 a night for a hotel room. Overall all hotel staff were great, Sabrina was fabulous; friendly, genuine and helpful. The car service was very convenient and the drivers were always fantastic, happy conversationalists. I had a poor...

We chose this hotel because it is within walking distance of our daughter's apartment. While on a main road, there was very little noise. It's style is very modern. We arrived after a long trip, and William the GSA, helped us get into a room early. We enjoyed the plentiful buffet breakfast in a nice setting. We took a short...

This is a very vibrant hotel situated close to the Chinese quarter and the Latin quarter. St Denis is within walking distance and there are many restaurants and bars which accommodate all tastes. The staff go to great lengths to provide excellent customer service. The rooms are spacious and modern.

I usually stay at Hotel 10 when in Montreal due to its location. If I drive, I leave my car in the garage and walk to appointments and the Metro is close by. The rooms are large, WIFI is usually included.

I arrived at 10am after traveling for over 24 hours and was told that my room would only be ready at 4pm!! I was to sit in the reception for 6 hours. After much negotiation they gave me a room by 1pm. The staff at the check in were very inexperienced and couldn't get my credit card to work while...

My stay with hotel 10 was nothing but a nightmare. First of all, I booked a suite for my sister's bachelorette months and months in advance. I called and confirmed the suite the week before, as well as the DAY before and they confirmed the reservation. When we got there- they said the suite was under construction and we were...

Stayed here four 4 days. Nice location. Very quiet. But water and drinks before arriving. Although there was a menu in the room for a no mini bar in room. Cost for a soft drink from room service is $4 plus fees. Rooms are nice and comfortable.

We were looking forward to our stay at Hotel 10 based on good reviews and its location. Unfortunately, the hotel did not meet our expectations. Our room seemed to have recently had carpet ripped out and there were traces of that carpet still connected to the wall. There were stains on the side of the mattress and bed covers. The...

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
