We just came back from 3 wonderful nights at the Victorian Heritage B&B. We stayed in the garden suite and it was a lovely experience. The entire place is filled with beautiful furniture, art, and accessories. Denis, the owner, was at breakfast every day to chat and answer any questions we had. We loved the location in the Latin Quarter...

We stayed in the Garden Suite at the Victorian Heritage a week ago. This is a restored mansion from the 1800's that has been beautifully furnished to maintain the original charm. Entry to this suite is via a few steps down from the street level. The back door of the suite opens up to a small garden with seating and...

Great location for restaurants and transport, hospitable and friendly staff, a range of rooms and suites available. We chose the large and luxurious loft and it didn't disappoint. It had every amenity - full kitchen and laundry. Lots of stairs.... but worth it.

Denis Beaulac the host of the Victorian Heritage Bed and Breakfast is a very gracious and accommodating person. His friendly personality add a lot to the comfort of staying in a B & B. The breakfast of the Victorian Heritage was also an highlight of our trip. Morning omelette with fresh variety of bread, fresh quizzed juice and fruits surely...

This B&B was exceptional. Great location, excellant rooms, the customer service from Denis, Michel and their staff was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very welcoming. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend the Victorian Heritage B&B to anyone visiting Montreal. Many thanks.

We chose the Victorian Heritage because of the reviews and the location. Everything exceeded our expectations. The location is fantastic with easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Make sure to walk BOTH ways on St. Denis Street as it is full of great restaurants with every type of cuisine available. The best thin crust pizza in the world is...

It was my first time to Montreal and Denis and Michele were the perfect hosts. Breakfast was amazing with everything I could think of wanting to eat. Though I had some loose plans, Denis's suggestions of things to do in town were flawless. I had a great time with his recommendations along with some self-exploring. I stayed in the Judge's...

We booked 8 nights with the Victorian and decided to take one of the suits, We can only highly recommend to stay (short or long) with Denis and his crew. It was simply just great. Nice rooms (suits are large) superb break-fast and being in the middle of the Latein-area in Montreal gives you easy access to all points of...

Had a wonderful time in beautiful Montreal, we were welcomed by Michelle at the hotel, they allowed us to park up early so we could enjoy the day. This old restored Victorian row house in the Latin Quarter was the perfect place to stay for our recent visit to Montreal. The home was stunning and it was such a treat to stay amidst such beautiful old surroundings. We were greeted by the friendly Michel and thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts with host Denis and the other guests. And the...

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
