Had a wonderful time in beautiful Montreal, we were welcomed by Michelle at the hotel, they allowed us to park up early so we could enjoy the day.
We had the garden suite which was spectacular, old world charm with all the mod cons.
This old restored Victorian row house in the Latin Quarter was the perfect place to stay for our recent visit to Montreal. The home was stunning and it was such a treat to stay amidst such beautiful old surroundings. We were greeted by the friendly...More
We just recently spent 8 lovely nights in the Héritage Victorien B&B in the so called Latin Quarter of Montréal. We almost thought we had been transported back to the middle of the 19th century - in a good way - as all the conveniences...More
We spent 4 nights with Denis and his very pleasant staff. The cool factor of this Victorian home is way up there. Breakfasts were lovely with gorgeous fresh fruit and artisan breads and omelettes. We found the location perfect for walking to so many neighbourhoods....More
Do not let the outside of the place fool you. Heritage Victorian is one of the most amazing places to stay ever. The pictures on the site do not do it justice in the slightest. The rooms are...cavernous is the only way to explain it....More

The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and
exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.

We walked everywhere! We paid extra to park our car in back of the house which is worth it, and did not use our car at all. Good restaurants are one block over on St. Denis. It took about 30 minutes at most to walk to Mount Royal, which we did in the morning, then went to the Beaux Arts Museum to see the Pompeii exhibit before going to dinner. It was only a 20 minute walk to Old Montreal and the Cathedrals which are stunning and worth the fee - check times for tours. We did not go to the Botanical Garden nor Zoo which would require a car.
Denis is very helpful it giving walking directions to see sites, too.
I hope this helps - my husband and I love to tour by walking and loved our visit to Montreal!
