Great Bed & Breakfast in the nice and central area of Montreal. This is actually a house in a nice street, 5-minute walk from the pedestrian area and rue Saint Denis with a lot of restaurants. Very quiet. I had a room on the first floor, with the shared bathroom. The whole house is very charming, and my room was...

This B&B was perfect for our stay in Montreal. The location is on a quiet street, with easy street parking, but just a few minutes' walk to Vieux Montreal and Rue St Laurent. The rooms are spacious, bright, and clean. Natalie was full of suggestions for dinner options, and recommended some great restaurants. The breakfasts she prepared were amazing and...

Amazing hosts and great location. Just a few minutes walk from downtown! Breakfast was delicious and different each day! Rooms had their own washroom which was perfect. Everything was so clean. We would totally go back when we visit next 😊

If you are going to Montreal, this is the place to stay. Breakfasts were 3 courses and delicious. Nathalie and Robert are the nicest hosts you could wish for. They were so helpful, giving us great information on things to do, areas to go and how to get there. Robert even saved us a car park on the street so...

I stayed in the B&B for one night. My room was very nicely decorated and comfortable. In addition, Natalie puts a lot of effort in making your whole stay as comfortable as possible: She took her time to give me tips about my trip in Montreal and also offered me after checking out to stay in the B&B, what I...

We visited this B&B during our North American tour last September. We were supposed to stay only one night on the way in but we ended up booking one more night on the way back. It is a cosy, lovely place in a quiet but central location, with all the required amenities, at a very decent price. If it was...

Stay here was fantastic, room was clean, smelled fresh, organized, the small kitchenette really helped. The B&B staff (natalie and others) were very nice. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were beautiful with antique elements, desks and chairs. We are picky travellers but simply had no complains.

Yes, you have to share the bathroom, but it is a great bed and breakfast and the breakfast part is truly delightful, home made. Stay here if you can. It is run by a couple and they communicate with you before you arrive.

Nathalie and Robert are the kindest and warmest persons you may find in Montreal. Breakfast is super good, healthy and fresh. Nathalie! your finger is doing magic. We had a wonderful time while staying in Montreal. The location is perfect; since you are enjoying a quiet place to rest, it is walking distance to crazy areas, old Montreal, art shop,...

Staying in The Village (Gay Village)

Neighbourhood Profile
The Village (Gay Village)
The rainbow pillars of Beaudry Métro Station shepherd the way into to The Village, one of the largest hubs for gay and lesbian culture in North America. With an open layout and a congenial aura, the refurbished buildings along Rue Sainte-Catherine pay a special homage to menswear and to caffeine, with showrooms and cafes. By morning, the antiquing gems along Amherst Street are packed with collectors. An incredible party spot, The Village comes alive at night, when clubs, bars, and dance halls open their doors and the revelry is high, epitomised by the fanciful trimmings of the apropos Oscar Wilde building. From May to September, the area closes to automotive traffic, allowing restaurant terraces to pour onto the streets, creating a dynamic sense of community. Les Boules Roses, thousands of pink baubles, are hung to welcome in the festivals and celebrations, including Montréal en Arts, Divers-Cité, and the Pride Parade.
