The hotel is very well located, and the staff is friendly. Everything is clean, but do not expect any luxury, the room is very small, you'll feel more comfortable in your own bedroom. There is not a lot of light in the room, either, so for spending one night in Montréal, it could be convenient, but nothing more. Food was...

I have been there twice when i travelled montreal. The room price is acceptable, and it is very easy to reserve the room at foreign country. If I go to Montreal next year, I'd like to select this hotel again. This is clean and comfortable hotel. Nice service. Many restaurants are nearby hotel. Just little far away from train station,...

The staff and the accommodations were excellent. The staff was very helpful throughout our stay. All of them seemed to enjoy their jobs. We would defiantly stay there again. The neighborhood is vibrant and fun.

We had a great time in Montreal and were able travel all over the city from this wonderful hotel. It's centrally located on public transit and there is a rental bike drop stand one corner to the north. The rooms are small but very clean. It's situated in the midst of the best restaurants and clubs outside of 'old' Montreal....

A few of my friends and I stayed here for Osheaga and it was INCREDIBLY convenient. Despite all the people there for the festival, it was surprisingly quiet. The rooms were huge, there was free wifi, it was very close to most things (including the bus station), and there was roof access (which was super cool!). The staff is extremely...

I stayed three nights in nice room with a comfortable bed, and a small private bathroom. The room was on an inner court so the sounds of the city were quiet background and I slept well. The room was a bit dusty and felt like it needed a good wash-down, but it didn't feel grimy or dirty, just dusty, perhaps...

I stayed at this hotel in February 2012 and was quite content. The staff is really friendly and if you need something you can just ask for it. It is situated very centrally which is great. The two things which were not so good were first of all that there is no wifi, just a lan cable. The second is...

Hotel Espace Confort is situated in the very centre of Rue Saint-Denis, one of Montreal's most vibrant streets with bars, restaurants and clubs. The rooms were small but clean. The bathroom was a bit old, especially the shower could need renovation. The breakfast was croissant with jam and coffee, thus a simple French breakfast. WLAN in the hall worked fine.

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
