This hotel is exactly what you would expect from a property located near the airport, servicing the surrounding business parks. There's nothing within walking distance for guests, so you are limited to the hotel restaurant for food, unless you order from a delivery service. The front desk staff were great and helpful. Housekeeping are very nice but don't speak French or English. Brush up on your Spanish if you want to chat with the people cleaning.

At check-in, staff were friendly and efficient. Lobby is a nice size. There is a restaurant off of one side that serves breakfast and dinner. We didn't partake in those. Elevator is a key system use, for added security. My daughter and I had a superior king room on the 8th floor, facing the main street, Rue de la Montagne. The view was alright, and we could kind of see Mt Royal, behind the various buildings. The king bed was very comfy to sleep on...solid sleep with good pillows. There was also a pull out couch, which we could sit on. My daughter worked a bit at the work desk. There is no coffee maker in the room, but there is a kettle and tea bags or instant coffee for use. There were packages that had powder to use + other items. There wasn't a usual type fridge, but I had phoned ahead of arriving, and the person stated that there is a mini bar, and one could find room to put a few items in, which we did. Shower had 2 shower heads...one on an angle, and one large one, where the water comes straight down. There is no hair dryer to use, and no, much needed mini bottle of conditioner to use. The front desk staff stated they were out of it, for now.
The location of the hotel in the city is great, with just walking 1'2 the street to get to the major street of Rue Ste. Catherine, and the other way, the major Blvd Rene Levesque. The street, one over from hotel, has alot of pubs/bars, restaurants, for several streets (Crescent street). We were able to walk to many places we wanted to see, or used the handy Metro, for getting around.
Staff were always saying hello, when we'd go and come from hotel, even if they were busy, looking at their computers; they would acknowledge, which was nice. There is a room in lobby area, that allows guests to leave their luggage,, for hours, and then return to pick it up, when they need to.
We were happy with our stay here, and would return, if we visit the city again. We would recommend others to stay here as well.

Spent 2 nights here. Check in was quick but the clerk working was not very forthcoming with any info about the hotel.
Room was clean and spacious however the layout of the bathroom was a bit weird. It had double doors that faced into the room (as opposed to off to side) and when the doors were closed, there was about 1/2" of space between the doors which wasn't very private.
We used the pool and hot tub. The pool is small but thankfully there was no one in it while we used it.
We ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and food was good for both. Service at dinner was not the best but the waiters during the breakfast were great.
If you are staying here because of the airport it's a good location otherwise there is nothing within walking distance around.

A motel stay would have provided a better experience than this hotel. We booked to stay here during our mandatory quarantine and the hotel, to our great surprise, told us that the price we booked online would not apply even though they admitted the error is on their website. To make matters worse, when asked if they would consider refunds for nights we won't end up using, as some hotels are doing, the hotel worker proudly proclaimed 'we don't care if you only stay 10 minutes, you'd still be charged for 3 nights'. To make matters worse, after repeatedly warning the hotel of our son's severe nut allergy and telling them to make sure they don't include anything of that sort in his food, they of course bring him deserts full of nuts and ingredients in his main meal that we told them not to include. When we asked if they could please remake with our specifications in mind, they said they were too busy and for us to instead order on Uber Eats and they would reimburse us. The attitude of the staff working at the front desk was just something to behold. We would not stay here again if they paid us and I would say save yourself a headache and find somewhere else to stay.

This “airport “ hotel is actually a $30 cab ride from the airport….no shuttle. Carpets are filthy and plenty of mold in the shower. They had the nerve to actually charge us sixty dollars for our 5kg non shedding dog to stay in our room. I wouldn’t let my dog on the floor and we kept our shoes on. I advised in my booking that we were bringing our little dog but they didn’t bother to email me that it would cost this outrageous amount. Pet friendly they say,,,,,pet gouging is more accurate.

There isn't anything near here except for the airport but it was nice being close to the airport for a good night's rest before flying out. The hotel would also be good for a business trip if you have to stay in the area and have a car. It does take about 20 to 30 minutes to get to the city from this hotel.

The check in was quick and the hotel smells and looks clean. The room we stayed in needed a little help as the toilet paper holder was missing it's bar, the mini fridge was missing and the screw holes were quite visible and the some towels were quite frayed and in need of some replacement.

The pool and hot tub were at a good temperature and there was lots of natural light in the area. There is a bathroom nearby which you can change in and the hotels are in the pool area.

The TVs are pretty new but we couldn't find anything to watch so I would recommend bringing your own HDMI adapter. The hotel could do a better job for changeover of hotel rooms as the clocks showed the wrong time and the one went off unexpectedly at 6 am.

There are better options in the city but if you are just going through Montreal or need a place near the airport this is a decent option for that and there is lots of parking.

A covid stay of 1 night, forced to pay 3 at an exorbitant price, $1089 for 3 nights in a sub par room and inedible food.
Even if the stay is mandatory, there is no excuse for the room or the food which was coming from the hotel’s kitchens to be so bad.
I am extremely disappointed with this Novotel, definitely not on par with what an Accor hotel should be.
When I complained, the manager was adamant and disagreeable. Personnel was always kind….the only good thing about this stay.

Deterioration of service. If you are used to staying in a Novotel, you will see how deficient the service of #novotelyul is. This was not always the case. We wish them to get back in control! Dirty dishes lying around all day on the floors, in three nights NO cleaning in the rooms, non-compliance with Accor Diamant services (breakfast is free on weekends, it was billed, we had to ask for the drink from welcome and unlike ALL other Accor hotels, the drink was not offered to all the occupants of the room, we do not feel like a member of the loyalty program at #Novotelyul). The breakfast (no more buffet, replaced by a disgusting and expensive a la carte menu for the poor quality of the dishes) is disappointing and the breakfast service is dismissive. The coffee machine didn't work in the room, not even a cup, paper cups worthy of a motel. Air conditioning leaking under the carpet, faulty refrigerator, broken iron. We had two executive rooms and were able to get by by combining amenities. Disappointing. In short, #Novotelyul is no longer up to the standard of a Novotel and should review its management.

The rooms are very large and well maintained. Attention to the cleanliness of the rooms: if you want them to clean the room every day, you must ask expressly, otherwise they may not clean it.
The location is very negative: from the web, the hotel is advertised with a strategic location; in fact, the nearest metro station is 15 minutes by Uber (about 20CA$), from which you can then reach, with 30 minutes by metro, the city center.
If you want to reach the city center by Uber, it takes about 40CA$ each way and about 30/40 minutes.
In addition, to reach the airport with uber you need about 30CA$ (so it is not even in the immediate vicinity of the airport).
If you have to come to Montreal to visit the city I Recommendation to choose another hotel, or choose this only if you have a personal car; otherwise, Recommendation to invest a little more but choose a hotel in the city center.

The only reason not given a 5 was that services were restricted because of Covid and not 'all available' (which is understandable). The hotel was SPOTLESS!! We felt very secure and the attitude of staff was note-worthy. The room again was spotless and loved the exceptional size of the shower!!!...the room design was like a small touch of France in a N. American hotel.... really enjoyed the stay under difficult context. Merci. We will certainly return!. Bravo!

Some rooms have sofa beds and you can get cribs, but I don't know about roll away beds. They have so many services I would be surprised if they didn't.
