Perfect for our brief stay in Montreal. Needed to be in this neighborhood and needed first floor accommodation and got it. Excellent service and communication from Sarah and the staff with delicious nutritious breakfasts. And even fresh baked cookies one afternoon. Immaculate room with amazingly comfortable bed and room to move around in. Large tub and good shower. Yes, it...

I really wanted to like this place because the manager couldn't have been nicer, the breakfasts were excellent, and the view of the park from our generously sized room was great. However, the negatives outweighed these plusses. The building feels shabby despite its lovely old bones, starting with the cracked and crumbling entrance walkway. Paint is cracked and peeling on...

My daughters and I stayed and very much enjoyed the lovely rooms. For us, the feeling of luxury is to be able to make ourselves at home, but not feel any of the responsibilities of home. We enjoyed the breakfasts, the conversations with Sarah and her assistants Julie and Brie, and the great advice on where to go in the...

Casa Bianca is a beautiful and comfortable home in a fanastic location, and Sarah, the proprieter, could not be nicer or more hospitable. The rooms are artfully decorated rooms and guests have access to a large, fully equipped vegetarian kitchen. Sarah serves up engaging conversation with her breakfast spread and was very generous with her advice on where to eat...

My partner and I stayed 1 week at Casa Bianca and LOVED every minute of it! The breakfast was simple but filling and lasted us until lunch. We stayed here because I attended a Thai Yoga Massage Class at Lotus Palm School just a 15 minutes walk away, so the location was perfect for me. There are tons of shops,...

My wife and I had a lovely 5 days at Casa Bianca. Sarah the manager was friendly and very helpful in suggestions for local restaurants and places to visit. Our room was beautiful, clean and well-appointed, looking out onto the park. Old world charm oozes out of this place and we appreciated being able to use the shared kitchen and...

ROOMS -simply decorated, chic -the photos on their site are accurate and relaistic -no phones (who needs a phone anyway) there is a house phone downstairs -unintrusive tv in the room -our room had no shower, just a tub, which was just fine. We enjoyed the experience of using the tub in a beautiful bathroom and relaxing. HOUSE -floors are...

The charming Sarah and Stéphanie will welcome you to this early 20th century cozy B&B, located in a cool area. Vast communicating rooms with much character which are convenient for families. We enjoyed sharing breakfast with other hosts, who all turned out to be interesting people. Light sleepers may be bothered by the noisy wooden floors (old house); this is...

My wife and I used to housesit in this neighbourhood until our friends moved. Casa Bianca is close to many of our favourite places in the city, located near major bus routes and across from Mt. Royal park. The staff was charming and very friendly and knowledgeable about the city. It's hard to find a hotel or B&B located in...

We have stayed at several places in Montreal over the years, from luxury places downtown to B&B's on the Plateau. Casa Bianca has the best possible location, on the park and steps from the heart of the Plateau (you could hit Leonard Cohen's house with a throw of a wine bottle from here). Sarah and Stephanie are tremendous hosts, and...

Staying in Parc du Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Parc du Mont-Royal
Montreal was named for this hilly highland, where the tallest spot in the city overlooks its most extensive parkland. The greenspace of Parc du Mont-Royal is an outdoorsman's dream, with hiking trails and nature walks that cater to every season and level of athlete. In the winter, cross-country skiers, tobogganers, and ice skaters don their equipment by Beaver Lake and its pavilion, while the warmer months bring families and competitors to the pitches of Jeanne-Mance Park for tennis, soccer, football, baseball, volleyball, or a dip in the community pool. A perfect spot for a stroll or a picnic, the forest foliage is dotted with sculpture art and offers views of some of Mont-Royal's oldest edifices, the towering St. Joseph's Oratory and the mausoleums of Notre-Dame-des-Neiges. Home to musical celebrations and twilight snowshoeing alike, visit here to walk, write, rest, think, or just be.

Casa Bianca is Montreal's finest boutique maison d'hote. Located on the park, enjoy spectacular views from the rooms and suites facing Mount Royal. It is just two blocks to St-Laurent Blvd. – "the Main" - and the Plateau, Montreal's cultural heart and its restaurants, cafes, yoga, shopping, music and nightlife.
