I got my room through Hotwire as one of their top-secret deals, where they don`t tell you the hotel until you`ve paid. I consider myself quite lucky to have gotten such a nice place. The location is good, mid-way between the old city and the St. Catherine Street area in the new city. It`s about a 10 minute walk to... More

Our family of 3 stayed here for a total of 4 nights. The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The room is clean and modern. The bathroom has a night light which is such a brilliant idea! The window in our room actually opens, and the flooring is wood, both of which we liked. In the... More

Stayed here on a family vacation to Montreal and was very pleased. Seems a little out of the way for sightseeing but it turned out to be the perfect location. Within walking distance to just about everywhere. (Not many restaurant options within a block or two but many options just a few more blocks away.) Friendly staff and clean, modern... More

We couldn't find place at The Delta Centre-Ville Hotel in Montreal, so we took this hotel as a second choice. I am not disappointed. Modern and very clean hotel with spacious rooms . Breakfast is included in price. Be prepared to fight for your breakfast as dinning area is to small for such a big hotel.

Have just spent a week here, and overall impressions are very good. It is situated in a side road which is not very attractive but don't let this put you off. As mentioned by others, it is so convenient to walk to St Catherines and Des Jardins with shops and food court, or down to Old Port and Place St... More

This was an excellent place to stay clean and modern me and my friend stayed here for 3 days. This hotel actually named Le Dauphin is at a great location which gives you easy access to all the places in Montreal either by walking or metro, by the way we've manage to explore a lot by walking. I was impressed... More

This was my second time to stay at the Hotel Dauphin. It is a good value for Montreal, and well located - right next to the convention center, and a short 10-15 minute walk to old Montreal. The rooms are basic, with modern Ikea-type furniture. The beds are very firm and the pillows are not the highest quality, but they... More

We stayed at this hotel on June 16th for three nights. We were impressed with the hotel given the value nightly rates. Definitely a great hotel for business or family trips! Although it is situated in a not so crowded area of downtown, which could be a bit intimidating when walking through at night, it is walking distance from many... More

Really nice! The front desk girl in the evening was very helpful & friendly! Other staff were nice too! Really great location! Walking distance from everything in the town. We stayed there for 3 days and will come back when we'll be in Montreal again for sure.

There's too much furniture in the room, not functional or best use of space. Nice bathroom and flooring for value hotel. The breakfast service was terrible with stale baked goods (in a town full of French boulangeries). The attendant prohibits guests from taking a cup of coffee or banana outside of the small eating area. As a frequent business traveler,... More

Staying in Quartier International

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier International
Designed to connect and beautify unused space, today the Quartier International is like a transversal piece of modern art. The distinctive design flair is most apparent at its focal point, the Palais des Congres, a convention centre and retail space with a multi-coloured glass exterior and an equally bold interior motif. Outdoors too, the Quartier is friendly towards public art exhibits along its stylish, plotted city squares, with extra-wide sidewalks meant to encourage long strolls and shaded benches available for absorbing the atmosphere. Fresh air and promenades characterise the area, from the foliage of Victoria Square to the fountain of Place Jean-Paul Riopelle, while the restaurants along Rue Saint-Antonie Ouest and Metro stops modeled in the Parisian style give off European glamour.
