Enjoyed our one night stay. Pros - good location to walk to most tourist must-do' s downtown, clean and comfotable, great breakfast ( for a complimentary) , secure, good price for downtown, free wifi ( and in room computer if you require) . Staff were professional and english speaking and friendly. The reception sold wine and other bits and pieces....

Spent 4 nights here for Grand Prix weekend and wasn't impressed with the area when we arrived, however have to admit that it was quite central for both the Old town and the more modern shopping area. Bed was very hard so sleep quality was poor. Breakfast was basic but fine for a few days. Didn't find the staff particularly...

The Hotel Dauphin is very much like a European boutique hotel. There are no real 'frills', but it is clean, affordable, the rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are modern, and the location is wonderful. It has an almost 'Ikea' feel to it. Simple furnishings everywhere. The rooms have laminate flooring instead of carpeting. Truthfully, that's probably a better and cleaner...

Extremely convenient location (I was there for a conference at the convention center). Clean, quiet - much nicer than the equivalently or higher priced chains. The breakfast was serviceable but not elaborate (but coffee was quite good).

clean - modern - super friendly and helpful - quiet - affordable - breakfast included and is good though for long stays might become uninteresting .. close to train station - great showers - beds too - some rooms look out against another brick will .. so avoid that if you don't like the view - doors can be noisy...

My husband and I stayed here over the Christmas and New Year holidays this year. Exceptional value for a downtown hotel. Within walking distance to shopping, attractions, restaurants. On a quiet side street so not much traffice noise. Simple but tasteful and modern decor and hardwood floors which we like. Comfortable beds, security elevator, clean, friendly front desk staff. Parking...

Got this hotel from a trip advisor search, and in terms of what you get for the price, it's probably one of the best deals I've seen. The location is very good, just outside old Montreal. Parking is available in the nearby (1 block away) convention center. You can stop the car at the door, for unloading, and up to...

Firstly - the staff were fantastic, polite, courteous and bi-lingual. We arrived as a walk-in (3 adults) at 10pm. It was a Tuesday night and the price was $160 +tax (took it up to $198.00). The hotel was also built brand new in 1997. Pros: -Bi-lingual. For those of us who don't speak French, the staff and in room instructions...

Stayed here for 3 nights. First the good. Location was very convenient to the convention centre. Also close to metro station. Restaurants and convenient store can be found nearby or within few blocks. The room looked clean. The bathroom looked updated with glass enclosed walk-in shower (no dingy shower curtain or shower door). The shower water was hot with good...

I visited this hotel in April and I was very happy with the room and location and breakfast provided. The view wasn't very good but that's because we were given a room on the lower floors (3rd). The parking situation sounded so complicated that I decided not to take my car which was a great decision. I heard a few...

Staying in Quartier International

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier International
Designed to connect and beautify unused space, today the Quartier International is like a transversal piece of modern art. The distinctive design flair is most apparent at its focal point, the Palais des Congres, a convention centre and retail space with a multi-coloured glass exterior and an equally bold interior motif. Outdoors too, the Quartier is friendly towards public art exhibits along its stylish, plotted city squares, with extra-wide sidewalks meant to encourage long strolls and shaded benches available for absorbing the atmosphere. Fresh air and promenades characterise the area, from the foliage of Victoria Square to the fountain of Place Jean-Paul Riopelle, while the restaurants along Rue Saint-Antonie Ouest and Metro stops modeled in the Parisian style give off European glamour.
