The Embassy Suites by Hilton Montreal receives mixed reviews, with guests commending its central location near Old Montreal and transport hubs, despite ongoing construction. Spacious yet dated rooms are often mentioned, alongside a complimentary breakfast that is well-received. I say this embassy suite branch has lived up to the standards. Staffs were courteous and professional, the security upon our entrance was also welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean and tidy! Room is relaxing and calm. Parking has a fee of CAD35, spacing and driveway is tight so you know.(see vid for location) 2 complimentary drinks each person which is so cool and made-to-order breakfast at their resto on the groundfloor. Hotel location is so convenient. Train station Place D’armes is in walking distance and other iconic locations. There is a waiting area infront of the hotel for checkin and waiting for the parking ticket to be issued.

A perfect location to stay the night prior to our cruise. The rooms are well laid out and comfortable. This gave us the option to stay in for dinner if we wanted, but we were so close to Old Montreal, going out for dinner worked as well. The staff is friendly and helpful. This was a great place for our first trip to Montreal.

While the hotel staff is great. I have stayed at many places across the country and I have found a jewel in the kitchen Nancy is amazing. This is where this place really shines is the omelettes in the morning. This is solely the reason I stay at this hotel. They are always made to perfection.

I absolutely love this hotel, btw they are pet friendly 🙌🏻 Matthieu and Jason that are the faces for the hotel are great! They accommodated me and my family (with dogs) like I have never been treated before. They have an awesome happy hour for free drinks (room required) with snacks which is awesome. I would highly recommend this hotel to stay.

The check in was slow as there was only one clerk at the desk. I was 5th in line at 1pm. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Walked in my room and found it had a smell of marijuana. Room was not the cleanest. The carpet needs to be shampooed and cleaned properly. Was upgraded to a suite, which was ok. The rooms are spacious and location is good. However a full renovation wouldn't hurt. It was below my expectations for a Hilton.

First time business guest to this hotel at the recommendation of a colleague. I have to say that I was impressed with so many little things that made my stay very memorable. At check in I was warmly greeted and provided a little "kit" of information that covered everything from happy hour to WiFi, to breakfast and restaurant information and basically all that I would need to access the services during my stay. Parking was on site, convenient and self park with in and out privileges. I enjoyed dinner and wine at the hotel restaurant and I found the prices to be competitive and the services very good ! The ambiance in the restaurant was warm and comfortable and unpretentious. I was feeling positive vibes. I would say mostly business travelers like me, but everyone seemed to be having a good time ! My suite had a bedroom with sliding doors as well as a couch, large chair and a generous work area. TVs in the living room and also the bedroom were a nice touch. Lighting (important) was well placed and useful for work or rest. The bathroom included a stand up shower, full whirlpool bath tub and the entire bathroom was very largely proportioned and easy to get around in. Nice touches like hand / body cream were noticeable ! In the "kitchen" there was a full sized fridge, microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker. There were glasses, etc but I think the kitchen is not really going to be used too much except to warm up foods, but I greatly appreciated the wet bar with marble counter top and bar chairs. I set up my laptop on this counter and used it as a work space. Really nice !! I guess if there was any complaint is that I could hear the elevator going up and down from my room (I was in 910 and not too close to the elevators), but this was a minor annoyance and I may have only noticed it during quiet hours. A highly impressive hotel - I will be back on my next journey to Montreal !

I told Jason I would like to pay for Ms Yau room and tax first because she will come earlier and she does not bring credit card. I asked Jason if he can provide me any third-party credit card payment form so I can fill in. Jason told me he can't do that because it is accounting department policy it has to be done by 24 hours before guest arrival. Then I asked Jason if he can offer me free cancellation about my booking using his authority. He told me he can't do it because I was too late to cancel. According to my confirmation letter from Hilton, I understand I need to cancel before 12:00 AM on the arrival date. However, when I phoned to Jason, 12:24AM within half an hour. He is not giving any flexibility to guest and he is not willing to help. From my previous experience, every hotel staff from Hilton is helping and always think about guest first. Jason kept telling me about the hotel policies and he could not do anything. I also would like to know from you, when I visit your hotel website, I can't see anything about the third party payment arrangement. It would be better if you can show me, please. You may also refer to the picture I attached, from the reservation I made to the conversation with Jason, it was just an hour thing. If he is a guest service agent, I can try to understand him. But he told me he is duty manager. I was so surprised about this. It's my first time to stay in your property and I can't imagine you have such a service standard to Hilton Honors member.

Stayed here over NYE weekend, The Hotel facility was nice, good breakfast, many very good employees, and terrible management. Had a nice suite with a full kitchen, refrigerator, stove with oven, and dishwasher, but for DISPLAY only. Nothing to cook or eat with or on. No pots or pans, no silverware, no plates or cups or glasses?? Went to the desk and asked why nothing in the room to cook or eat with? The Answer was "You must request it" I requested everything and received 4 plates, butter knives, forks, and spoons. We had gone out and bought a pizza, focaccia bread with cheese and cold meat, and other foods to eat. I went back to the desk for a frying pan, a baking pan, some glasses, an egg flipper, and a knife to cut bread with. The concierge tried to help us, but no luck, he got housekeeping to find us an old frying pan, That was it. Do not come to thid hotel if you want a useable kitchen, it is an ornament to view only. Then on checkout, they would not charge my Hilton Amex on my Hilton Honors account. They said I need to provide the physical card. I never carry it, I usually check out online without even going to the desk. This hotel is a bogus Hilton, not like the ones I'm used to! Mgmt is third-rate!

Stayed at this hotel in early November 2023. Nice clean hotel, our room was spacious with a small kitchenette including fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker (with complementary coffee & tea) microwave & a safe included. Staff were friendly, room service offered daily. I would recommend this hotel if you want a hotel located in the heart of downtown and we would return. PROS: - Complimentary hot buffet breakfast with a good variety, omelet station. - A manager’s reception every evening 5-7pm with light snacks and free drink. - Restaurant/bar located inside hotel, friendly staff - Walking distance to the Old Port area - Restaurants/coffee shops within a short walking distance - Metro (subway) station across the street CONS: - Free Wifi barely worked, we mostly ended up using our data. However they were installing boosters the day we left so hopefully the issue is rectified. - There’s an option to pay for wifi but I don’t know if that worked better at the time.

As HHonors Diamond member for many years, this hotel is substandard. Upon check-in, front desk person provided incorrect information about debit vs. credit card payment and timing for deposit refund. Jacuzzi in the room did NOT work. Restaurant for breakfast was understaffed for the number of guests served that morning, resulting in very messy food countertops, restaurant floor and lack of silverware. Upon check-out, front desk "supervisor" radioed to housekeeping to check the room and give OK before completing our check out. For the location, there are a much better hotel options in this great city.
