Location is good but it looks like dump and not safe to go the have on the same street better motels more clean and secure so you can look around the area
There was always a parking space available, and the owners are very accommodating, even allowing us a much later checkout on our final day at no extra cost. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity, most within a couple of minutes' walk.
If you're looking for luxury, this isn't the place for you; however if you're looking for a crash-pad close to the airport and main roads - and your expectations are realistic - you'll find this a good place to stay.
One tip: it's pretty easy to find (even with the current roadworks and resulting diversions across Montreal), but we did initially end up at a similarly-named property a little further up the street called Auberge Motel Saint-Jacques. The woman on reception here was about as rude as you can get, basically refusing to help us because we weren't staying at 'her hotel'. With this in mind, avoid at all costs - they don't deserve business with behaviour like that!
I'll definitely come back.
