My partner and I went there on a romantic getaway! The location is perfect, you can walk every where, we found it clean, quiet and yes romantic! The breakfasts were wonderful, crepes, fruit cup, croissants, waffles, coffee, orange juice, tea. The owner is a, one man show, who does it all. He did take the time to show us, by...

Before THE TRIP, I expected just noraml THREE STAR HOTEL. HOWEVER, I was so disappointed ABOUT DIRTY ROOM, unfriendy services AND OLD FUNITURES. especially furnitures ARE SEEMS LIKE GABAGES FROM THE STREET. I don't really understand how this hotel has three stars. If THIS HOTEL HAS THREE STARS, OTHER MOTEL SUPPOSED TO GET at least 4 OR 5 STARS. ONLY...

SERVICE: The host Gerald, was well prepared to serve in any way. He took the initiative to give a quick tour of Quebec city highlights, major activities (example; free Cirque de Soleil show nearby), suggested choice of restaurants... all clearly marking them on a tourist map he gave us afterwards. He offered umbrellas to us, as it called for rain....

Great location between the upper and lower city but: 1. Unbearable proprietor 2. Fixed time for breakfast at 9AM (seemed late to us) 3. No deadbolt or chain lock on room doors (you just need a code) - my wife didn't like this so we baricaded the door with furniture.

I, too, had a bait & switch experience. EZRes.com quoted a price, then called me back to say that the hotel raised it. I agreed, having little other choice for a last minute reservation. On checking in, the hotelier denied knowledge of the change, and defended his rate as reasonable. We had the lowest price room in the hotel ($115...

This B&B is great. The rooms and the bathrooms are clean. The location is great: near Moulin à image, Cirque du Soleil, Old Québec, we walked from Grande-Allée to our hotel. The owner works alone. He doesnt have any staff and he does all by himself, he even serves breakfast in the morning which I must say is fabolous: fruits,...

This B&B is a hidden treasure!!!! I booked late at night, arrived late one evening and was very pleasantly surprised. My room was upgraded .... esthetically pleasing, clean and I had a double jacuzzi all to myself. Breakfast was fabulous. My only regret was that I could not stay longer, and maybe even sit in on some of the booked...

This is my second stay at the auberge, the rooms are clean, roomy, and the breakfast is great. My wife and I went there 5 years ago for a week, a month or two after we met. We had stayed in another inn and were very dissatisfied. We walked by and noticed it and walked in ,we immediately hit it...

We saw this B&B on the Internet and phoned for a reservation. This was arranged and a price was set. An email confirmation was requested, which was not given. Upon arrival, the owner told us that because we made the booking over the phone, not the internet, the price was not correct, and we were charged considerably more. He said...

“We stayed in the Rondot room: King bed and a Murphy bed in the second room. There is a second 'suite' with two bedrooms and a kitchen---think cottage style--that was $25. per night more. If you wanted to save on dinner costs (there is a fresh veggie market within 10 minute walk of hotel, and a regular grocery store less than 15 min. walk ) then you might want to consider this room. We had planned on eating out and trying all sorts of new foods and desserts........”
