Stayed as a couple - rooms are large and modern, love the peek-a-boo closet to keep your stuff organized and visible. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and location cannot be beat! Short walk to all the popular restaurants, Petite Champlain, etc. I appreciated the nespresso machine, as most of the local breakfast restaurants serve the same. Across from Chateau Frontenac, everything to see and eat is a short walk away. When you arrive, you can park out front for 10 minutes, and the hotel will give a driving/walking map and a preferred rate for parking at city hall spaq. Really glad to have spent our short holiday at this hotel!

We loved this boutique hotel! Rooms are completely renovated and large with vaulted ceilings. Try to get a room on the side with a view of the Chateau le Frontenac. It’s a very picturesque view that looks like a Christmas card. The first floor of the hotel houses all the tour companies and money exchange. The hotel lobby is actually up one flight. We flew in and never needed a car all weekend. We were able to walk or Uber everywhere easily. This hotel is in a great location and in walking distance to tons of shops and restaurants. There is a cafe/bar next door that we ate in often and I highly Recommend lunch or dinner in Le Sam in the chateau as well. Would definitely stay there again!

We visited Quebec City and stayed at Manoir Morgan. The hotel is kids friendly, we loved the room and it was very close to the main attractions. It was very easy to go and visit with kids because the location of the hotel was very convenient. We will definitely return.

We travel to Quebec city frequently and wanted to try a new hotel. The location and hotel room are excellent. Staff is very pleasant. Loved the high ceilings and fabulous tall windows.
What was very disappointing was that our room was not cleaned and restocked. We were told this was because of "Covid". Really? We have travelled extensively during Covid and rooms are being cleaned and replenished following appropriate protocol. Feel this is a money grab and not conducive to a luxury boutique hotel like this.

My husband and I had been talking about a little get away and decided Quebec City was perfect for us. I started searching and stumbled upon this amazing place! I booked originally through a booking site, but had to cancel due to an unexpected event. We called the hotel and asked if we could change dates to a week later, keep our original room and the price. I was assured that would be fine. That was the first positive.
Once we arrived at the hotel we parked our car in the designated hotel 10 min parking zone and decided to checked in. You should be aware that the parking is off site, but easy to find as long as you have the address to pump into your gps. Leah ( our concierge) gave us printed off directions and helped us carry our luggage up to our room. She was amazing!! There is an elevator but you do have to go up a few stairs to the lobby.

One floor up and we entered a lovely lobby area. Check in was easy and pleasant.
Our room was nothing short of lovely! Martin, the manager couldn't have been more accommodating!
Our room overlooked the Chateau and Place D'Arme which was so pretty. the city was busy putting lights around the trees in the park while we were there, so you can only imagine how magical that scene was!
The ceiling in our room soared to 15 ft... Loved it!! Big windows added to the ambiance
We stayed in the Quadruple Lux Suite which was wonderful as we were to be there for 5 nights.
We are glad we decided on this room, as we had a little more space to spread out.
Very handy location as you are in the heart of everything. As a matter of fact the Tourist information office is right there as well!

Restaurants and bistros are all around you.

The worst part of of our get away was leaving....but we will be back!

We had a king suite, meaning a full pull out sofa and a large room. Corner room on the third floor (which is called the second floor here). The ground floor is the tourist center and you simply take the elevator or stairs up one floor to reception. Friendly reception staff and house keeper. Amazing views of the Musee du Fort, Chateau Frontenac, Place d’Armes park across the street, and Dufferin Terrace. Street performers out front, but they were done by 9:00 pm. We really enjoyed them. Comfy bed, including the cot we asked for. QUIET hotel. Good Wi-Fi and adequate outlets. We controlled the heat, and figured it out fairly easily. Nice rainfall shower along with a handheld function if you want it…..water got HOT just for a minute or two but it was gradual, and I just waited it out. TV was not working at all, but I just pushed all the buttons until the cable started working…lol. We had a nice refrigerator…no microwave but they have one if you ask. The room and hotel have really been updated with stylish decor, but you still get the 1810 feel of the building. Location simply can’t be beat….we did the double decker bus tour which leaves right out front. We also did the underground excavation tour underneath the Dufferin Terrace, a two minute walk. And Starbucks in the Chateau Frontenac is a one minute walk. (We also walked beyond the Chateau at dusk up to the highest point in Old Quebec, to see the AMAZING view. It took five minutes to walk there). Parking underneath City Hall is a seven minute walk back to the hotel. I give Manoir Morgan 4.5 bubbles….the only little things that knock it down a little bit are a lack of actual blackout curtains (although the shades are not bad), and the price was a bit steep ($250 on a Sunday and Monday). Also the ceiling lights were VERY bright, while the lamps were dim. Need one really good lamp. But high praise for this gem.

Manoir Morgan is all about the location ... right on the Place d'Armes park, facing the Chateau Frontenac, walking distance to many restaurants and shopping including the artists lining the Rue de Tresor. The entrance to the hotel is through the main floor tourism centre, the doors of which are locked at 5pm. As we arrived after hours, we managed to find and ring the buzzer and the receptionist let us in with instructions on how to find the front desk. Check-in was easy, and we appreciated the receptionist's tolerance for our English-only language skills. Unloading the luggage was tricky, as the 5 minute parking spots out front seemed to have been taken up by those intending a longer stay. After a few loops around the park, we managed to find a place to stop the car and unload, and cart everything up the front steps, through to the elevator and our room. The room itself was surprisingly large, and newly renovated, with a big bathroom and Nespresso machine for our morning heart-starter. We knew that parking was "nearby", and although this turned out to be a mere 400 metre walk, getting to the car park involved a 10 minute drive back through the lower city. Fortunately, the receptionist provided excellent and very specific instructions. Recommended!

The pros, location and hotel room is good. You can walk to the tourist attractions as it is closeby such as hotel frontenac, the citadelle and the lower quarter via a funicular lift. I love that it is spacious and has good strong water pressure and the staff are polite and proffesional.
The cons I was allocated a room which is not at lift level. More like in between floors. I did not find this info in their website when making booking. So when they mention they have lift I assumed it stops at every level. I tried to request to change but was told they are full as it was close to weekend. I stayed from wed to friday. So i have to walk up and down 2 flights of staircases daily for 3 days with knee joint pain. The staff offered to help with my luggage so that help solve the problem. Also the room will only be clean after you check out. I dislike seeing unmade beds and trash fill up. So ended up making own bed.

It is 10:45 pm and we have been serenaded by a singer and trumpets directly in front of the hotel and our room since we returned from dinner. It is horrible. The front desk says there is nothing they can do, it’s a city. I am from NY I understand cities, but what I can’t understand is paying $300 per not to be miserable. Do not stay here unless you enjoy horrible singing and trumpets well into the night.

The breakfast is served next door at the Auberge du Trésor. They have a special menu for the breakfast option for guests of the Manoir Morgan. They are typical hearty North American options like eggs, sausages, etc. Portions are large. The resto has menus available online.
