My husband and I always go back to Hotel Clarendon - it is not only beautiful, but close to everything. Our room as usual, was beyond our expectations, we were placed in the Executive Suite at no extra charge and it was simply amazing with a surround view of the Frontenac and the surrounding streets. We will always go back...

We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Clarendon. You can't beat the location, and the concierge service was outstanding. Our rooms were pleasant and clean. Some reviewers comment on the small size, and yes that's true, but to be expected in a stately old hotel. I would definitely recommend the Clarendon to people looking for an authentic Old Quebec experience.

The hotel's location is good, but I can't see why anyone rated it above 2 stars. The hotel is just rooms and a restaurant; no pool, gym, sauna or anything else. My room is so small (I am in it right now, by the way) that I have to use my laptop in bed and I just operated the coffee...

Dear guest, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We have different room sizes at different rates; it goes from the Economy, which is the smallest one at the lowest rate, to accommodate the traveler who mainly wants to find a bed to sleep, to the Executive rooms, which are the biggest with some of the nicest...

It was problematic in terms of check in, but it was nice overall. The rooms were about average for a hotel, but you couldn't beat the views. The restaurant was expensive, and the rooms had wet paint odors.

Not patient with student groups they refused to give us working room keys. Our room weren't ready when we got there, our shower had been torn apart with a toolbox in the middle of the floor. It smelled like mildew!

I travelled to Quebec for work, and stayed at the Clarendon. I chose it because it was located in the heart of Old Quebec. It is a beautiful old building with comfortable rooms, and most importantly, centrally located for walking the old city.

Very conveniently located in town and easy to find when walking around due to the tower. Comfortable room, good staff, everything we needed was there. Also a nice lounge area in the lobby. Old world charm with modern amenities. Minor issues were quickly resolved, and the staff certainly works hard. They were always professional and spoke excellent French and English...

The Hotel Clarendon is and old fashioned (in a good sense) hotel, with helpful but not intrusive staff. Everyone speaks English so there is no language barrier. It is convenient to the sights of the Old City. It is quiet, well furnished but not over the top. If you are looking for a hotel jumping with activity, this is not...

I stayed one night there during a quick trip to Quebec city. The location is absolutely perfect: it's easy to get there from everywhere and it's close to about everything in town. Its location in the heart of the old city adds so much charm to the place it's worth the stay just for that. The Clarendon may look a...
