I liked the room and the hotel. It is in an old building and the staff is great. The hotel valet helped with our bags and I am very grateful for that. What I didn't like was the very steep steps that we had to climb to get to my room.

Hotel was old with paper thin walls. Hard to sleep since you can hear all the other rooms. Wifi is supposedly free which would have been great since data is super expensive in Canada with AT&T, but it rarely worked. Our room wasn't clean on arrival and staff walked in on us without knocking! Location is only bonus.

The room was tiny. My husband had to duck to get in the door. The air conditioning did not work well. We called down to the desk to ask for a fan. They said they would check if they had one and we never heard back. The bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom was so dark and filthy I did not...

We have stayed at a couple other hotels in Old Quebec City. We had hoped that the Hotel Jardin Ste-Anne would be another beautiful experiance. The hotel is in a good location in the old city. Easy walking distance to all the restaurants, shops and attractions. Getting in the entrance and up and down the stairs is a real chore....

The price was right and the location great. Our room per our request was on the 2nd floor, a steep walk-up but worth it as air-conditioning did not work despite a repairman visit. Staff were kind and brought us two fans to help us through a very hot weekend. Pasquale, the bellboy was absolutely wonderful and helped us in every...

The price and the location were great. The room was clean, though the shower was a bit hinky and sprayed the floor. We reported this at the desk and they sort-of fixed it, but not completely. It is a charming little place in some ways - cool old stone walls, etc. Parking is available for an extra fee and was...

Check in is at the sister hotel a few doors down - the Hotel Champlain. Valet parking is available at $23 a day. The Hotel Jardin Ste-Anne is in a quaint 200 year old 3 story house with a tiny garden out back. Our room was #21, a king room with futon lounger and compact ensuite bath on the 2nd...

A clean well-heated room, an excellent location across from a small park and English library and only a block from St Jean with its expansive restaurant selection. Everyone appreciated the secluded leafy terrace, which must give the hotel its name, as a place to get away from street life and chat at a pleasant table. It's located halfway up the...

Reasonable price good location. $25 for valet parking is worthwhile here but you can't get away too early - only available after 7 am. Quaint old building with narrow twisting stair to the upper floors. What you'd want for Old Town. Front desk is in the hotel next door. Patio in back. Small sitting area on main floor with vending...

Located in the old city, the hotel is an excellent location for discovering the city. Be aware that like many centuries old buildings, there are quirks such as slanting floors, steep staircases, etc. Limited parking. Room was not large, but sufficiently sized considering the time spent there, very comfortable bed, but room could have been just a bit cleaner. Overall...
