Really, there seemed to be lots of similar places on tripadvisor, and some on the same street (which may have also been fine) but we had a wonderful stay here. The staff could not have been more helpful and gracious (shout out to Antoine!), including handling reservations for dining and cars, offering suggestions for places to visit and shop, handling... Had a quick business trip in Quebec. This conveniently located hotel in the lower town area provided easy driving access while offering a beautiful view of the St Lawrence river. The rooms are well appointed and understated. The lobby is peaceful. A very good breakfast was included

This is a fabulous place to relax and just minutes from Old Quebec City. The staff recommended places to eat and a wonderful walking food tour. It was raining when we got in on a Sat night, but they also managed to snag us two seats at the bar of a nearby restaurant. An amazing meal and great service! The... More

Dear Judy N, Thank you for this very nice review! Quebec City is known for being the Paris of North America, and I am glad you had the same feeling! We really enjoyed this hotel. Parking arrangement is a bit quaint in a "public" parking lot but the hotel itself is of a very high standard. We had a superb room which was furnished to an up-to-date and quality standard. Breakfast was nice and informal in the lobby. Location good for exploring a very interesting city which we thoroughly enjoyed.

All staff were extremely friendly, room was large & comfortable & breakfast was included in the price which was also very nice. There was tea & coffee available at no charge at any time in the lobby. I really like staying in Le Germain hotels in Quebec. I am not sure if it is that boutique hotels suite the Quebec culture and experience, or that they were founded by Quebeckers. Either way, they just seem to feel right in Quebec like in no other province. This Le Germain is definitely my favourite. It is in the heart... More

In the heart of Lower Town, this is the perfect location. But parking is expensive at $25 daily, although it has a Tesla charger. The ambience is elegant and upscale. The neighbourhood that saw the birth of Quebec. The hotel was inaugurated in 1997 in the former office building of Dominion Fish & Fruit Limited, erected in 1912, and enjoys an enviable location on Saint-Pierre Street in the heart of Quebec City's historic Old Port district. The hotel possesses the elegance, comfort and refinement that are distinctive to all Le Germain Boutique-Hotels.
