Impeccable service, professional in every way, very clean, elegant and as cozy as an hotel can be. I absolutely love this hotel and every time I'm in Quebec, I make a point to stay at Dominion Le Germain. I strongly recommend it to you.

What a great place to stay in Quebec City.. Located in the old town and an easy walk to the Frontenac and that area. Small and warmly intimate lounge area which is used for breakfast. ( Which was a real treat by the way. Homemade baked goods , great cheeses and fresh juice)The staff could not have been more helpful,...

Absolutely love this hotel. I was having a terrible day until I walked into the hotel. Such a great ambience. Small boutique hotel in a perfect spot in old Quebec City. Walking distance to fantastic restaurants and shopping and to the top of the hill where the Chateau is located. Rooms are well appointed in a modern decor and has...

Québec city is one of the nicest cities in the world. The landmark of the place is probably an hotel and a good one (Le Château Frontenac). However, the best hotel in town -- and by far -- is a small boutique hotel in the "Basse-Ville" (Lower Town). The lobby is warm and welcoming. Going there in winter is to...

This is a very nice boutique hotel in Quebec City. The staff are attentive. The service is excellent and the hotel is quiet and comfortable. I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times and the second visit was even better than the first. I highly recommend this hotel.

The service is as always in Quebec so nice even more if you can speak French directly with the hotel staff. The breakfast is amazing like in France with good bread and espresso... I will come back for...

Stayed one night for a business trip. Lots of PROs: - very warm welcome - professional and courteous staff at the front desk (very important to me) - well located in charming ''Vieux Quebec'', on a quiet but safe-looking street. - very nice design (hotel and rooms), European feel (love that!) - chic, sexy and luxurious feel but classy and...

As a young professional, I got to stay in many big chain hotels before on business trips. Hotel Germain Dominion was my first boutique hotel experience and I really enjoyed my stay. The service was impeccable and the place had a warm and inviting feeling. I was impressed with the room layout and the professionalism of the service. Breakfast is...

Dear Pawel M., Your comments are precious to us and I will happily pass them along to my team. I am glad you enjoyed your first boutique hotel experience especially since I think we were booked initially and, leaving your name on our waitlist, we were able to confirm your reservation. I booked this hotel seeing that it was near the cruise port. I did not want to pay for another taxi ride in Quebec. This was the perfect hotel for us to stay in before our cruise. The rooms were modern and ellegant. You have Kurig type coffee makers in the room, plus a fridge, plenty of bottled water and...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The neighbourhood that saw the birth of Quebec. The hotel was inaugurated in 1997 in the former office building of Dominion Fish & Fruit Limited, erected in 1912, and enjoys an enviable location on Saint-Pierre Street in the heart of Quebec City's historic Old Port district. The hotel possesses the elegance, comfort and refinement that are distinctive to all Le Germain Boutique-Hotels. Although completely renovated, it still exudes the charm of yesteryear, thanks to efforts to preserve its historic character. Somehow, the hotel has a soul, and it's this in particular that attracts guests. Relaxing Comfort In Serene Surroundings. The rooms, where meticulous attention to detail reigns, each deliver a slice of history. Guests will nevertheless find that the design and amenities have a modern feel, allowing them to fully enjoy a relaxing oasis in the heart of a neighbourhood as picturesque as it is lively. ... more   less
