The hotel is beautiful, newly remodeled and in a great location. All of the staff were wonderful (especially Lily at the front desk). The restaurant and their staff were also outstanding. I would highly recommend this hotel.
- location, location, location (in the heart of the old city)
- good service / staff
- spacious enough room and bathroom (for the area)
- comfy bed
- lots of noise coming from inside the hotel the night we stayed (knocking noises,...More
To echo many comments, this is a superb location in front of the Place d'Armes, but you should expect lots of street noise: diners, shutterbugs, street performers and garbage/recycling trucks in the morning.
Unfortunately, many drawbacks negate this one positive attraction.

We couldn't ask for a better hotel. It's newly renovated. Beautiful decor and very clean. The walls are made of stone. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel has a restaurant on the ground level. It's one of the best restaurants in Quebec...More

We didn't travel by car, but there is parking nearby at City Hall. Used it many years ago, Then it was indoors, under the building. There are others, possibly could use the parking at the Frontenac, but that would undoubtedly cost double what they'd charge at City Hall. There is a website where you can look---just key in public parking in Quebec City.
