My wife and I stayed at the Quebec Inn on the final night of our holiday because of its close proximity to the airport. The Inn is a maze of different sections highlighted by an indoor courtyard featuring a pool in the biggest indoor tropical garden in Quebec City. There is also a restaurant, and a fitness/ wellness center. We also noticed a shuffleboard playing area. The courtyard is nicely lit in the evening.

My wife and I both thought that this would be the perfect place to stay with children.

Many rooms (including ours) had a balcony to the inner courtyard, letting us enjoy it's atmosphere, yet be in your our own room environment and so my wife and I did enjoy a delicious evening dinner on our room balcony.

The environment of the hotel was noisier than most we've stayed in. Part of the reason may be the balcony opening to the courtyard, but we were also both awaken about 2am to the sounds of the next room. We could hear the conversation taking place, so room to room noise separation is very poor in our opinion.

Free parking is featured here which was nice and the close proximity to the airport makes this a great place to stay for people having an early morning flight.

Too bad the prices increase depending on the service offered, the rooms should be refreshed at least every 2 days bathroom (towel) floor
(a sweeper and a mop rather than a mop would be more appropriate so that the floors do not remain sandy

Beautiful courtyard with heated pool and a spacious hot tub (can be really busy in pool area) Waterfall into a koi pond, beautiful greenery. We didnt have a room with balcony to pool side so was quiet however our fridge was a bit noisy. Room has newer flooring and paint, along with curtains and shower curtain however tiles are in need of some care.
Good value for the stay however could use a little more care in cleaning and upgrades.

Holy moly. I am here with my wife. I understand that COVID has everyone tied up tight. But harassment from the staff is far from what I was expecting from the JARO hotel group.
They called my room 3 times asking for different names. Mr Smith. Mr Tremblay. Mr Lachance. I actually ended up unplugging my phone.
They even requested I go back to my room when I was trying to go get ice at 7:15PM.
It feels like we are in prison here.
It really ruined my evening. It’s an abuse of power. There are calling every 20 minutes to see if we are really in our room. And yet, we are. I finally disconnected my phone. I’m not saying it’s the worst hotel I have ever seen. But it’s definitely not more than a 2 out of 10.
To top it all off, the room is old and dirty. The corners along the wall are dirty. The mirror in the bathroom has spit marks from the last person that brushed their teeth. The remote has gunk around the buttons. There was pubic hair on the toilet bowl.
Simply put. It’s not a 3 star hotel.
That being said, I have stayed at other hotel rooms in other JARO hotels.
But do yourself a big favour, unless you are getting this room for 50-60 dollars, stay far far away from Quebec inn

I travelled to Quebec City with my three year old and this hotel fit my needs. I fell in love with the greenery and pool in the photos and it did not disappoint! The only down side with traveling with a toddler and suitcases is there are no elevators or electric doors, but I managed. The one huge downside to the hotel is that it is about 25-30 minutes from the historical city which is why I took the trip in the first place. If you have a car then you’re ok, but taxi fares become expensive. This hotel is close to the airport so next time I may stay in the city for a few days and then stay here a day or so before my flight.

The hotel is about a fifteen minute drive from the airport. The room was very spacious and the bed comfy. Bathroom could use a renovation and one can not open the window. Breakfast is gor an extra charge, but as the waitress dis not really speak english we did not get what we ordered.

This was our first time in Quebec City, it's beautiful, I highly recommend it. We wanted to stay at a hotel that had some fun amenities for the kids. As others have described, this hotel has a resort style centre section, that really is unique. However, the hotel has some failings in my opinion:
1. This hotel is loud, not a place to go and relax. There are kids running wild around the hotel at all hours. I have kids myself, so I am not sensitive to kid noise, however, with the oval shape of the hotel and with the hallways all connected, kids use it as a racetrack, chasing each other, screaming until 10-11pm. So, if you have an early flight and need a good nights sleep, I wouldn't recommend this place.
2. The pool is cloudy, you can't see the bottom. Looking up a "cloudy pool" on the internet tells me that it has potential for bacteria, that didn't make me want to use it. Also, the hotel boasts an arcade, in reality, there is 2 race car games and 2 prize grab games, nothing very exciting, it's pretty run down.
3. Bathroom door is not a door. The bathroom door is more like a shower door, it doesn't fully close, it kind of swings shut with no firm close. It also doesn't extend to the bottom of the floor - basically, when someone is in there, you can hear absolutely everything. I was with my family, so it wasn't the worst thing, but a little privacy would be nice. If you are staying with a friend, you would probably ask them to leave the room before going in there, because I'm telling you, you hear everything!
All in all, our stay was fine. The hotel staff were very nice, the plants and resort style was nice, the beds are comfortable but unfortunately, I would not stay there again.

Always stayed at this hotel every time we go to Quebec. Seems the last couple years it’s getting worst and worst. This time, when we checked in, there was garbage everywhere in the hallway, also there is a strong smell of urine in the hall. Our key did not open the outside door. The alarm clock is an old iphone charger. The coffee machine is ancient. No microwave, we went to front desk and asked to use a microwave, just once, we were told no very rudely by management. Customer service was non existant. No customer service, no more business from us or family and friends. Thanks but no thanks.

Hi Natalieetr, We are sincerely sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. If your key did not work, you should have come to the reception and we would have provided you with a new one without problem. We have notified the relevant management regarding the ceramics in the bathroom that has not been properly cleaned, please excuse us. We’ll make sure it doesn’t happen again. Note that our rooms have all been renovated and tastefully decorated. The photos on our website are current. Also, the carpets in the hotel hallways are recent and no smell of urine was found during our audits. On your next visit, feel free to come to us if you need anything so we can make sure your stay is as enjoyable as it should be. Our staff is available around the clock and always happy to be of any assistance. Have a good day!

Terrible experience, room so dirty and dilapidated, mold, hairs in the bathtub, hairs on the headboard, dust, cobwebs, filth, yellow orange even brown mattresses, wallpaper that is coming off, furniture that is falling over us Were woken up at dawn by the sun because there were holes in the curtains.
At one point we thought it was an abandoned room.
In addition, no arcade games work, nor billiards only that of the bar where children are not allowed to access.
The pool was very cold and the lifeguard was fully dressed with his dirty shoes. He would never have saved a child from swimming, especially if he was focused on his cell phone. The management did not want to reimburse, shame on them! I am providing you with the photos so that you do not make the same mistake and above all so that you do not waste your money.
