Chateau Bellevue was absolutely wonderful! We were so appreciative to have such a spacious room that was laid out very nicely. The view and more importantly the location is exceptional. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The little extras like gifts when you arrive plus the wine card to use at the lobby wine station is a very nice touch. We will definitely come back to stay here very soon. Merci beaucoup! Stuart and Sherry Hecht

My wife and I had a wonderful and pleasant stay at the Hotel Chateau Bellevue. I usually try to give balanced reviews and offer some areas for improvements but I can't offer and such suggestions. The establishment is quaint as expected from a hotel in "le vieux Quebec" and the two rooms we stayed in were well appointed. Breakfasts were hearty, the staff were pleasant, helpful and super accommodating. Thank you.

My wife and I just spent 5 nights here. It was a fantastic stay. The staff is wonderful and the hotel was comfortable with a unique character. The breakfast basket was one of the day's highlights. It is the only place we will stay in the future. Very convenient location too!

Our room was lovely with a view of the park and the river. Our location was steps away from The Hotel Frontenac, The Plains of Abraham, The Citadel and much more. The staff was amazing. They were always helpful and went above and beyond to make sure that we got to the right place to board our cruise ship.

This was a delightful hotel with a fabulous location a short walk from multiple wonderful old town restaurants and prime tourist locations. The room was cozy, warm, and comfortable. All the staff were wonderful, polite and helpful but special kudos needs to go out to Maybel - who was brilliant. She calmly and competently managed a small reservation hick up giving us confidence the whole time that all would be well; and it was. Should we visit Quebec City again, we will most defiantly return to this hotel; and highly recommend it to others.

This was a birthday celebration. We let the hotel know this ahead of time when we made our reservation and then again in a follow up phone call. We requested and paid for a Prestige Room. We had seen reviews on here so we asked for one on the 3rd floor with a view and a therapeutic tub. We were given a room on the 2nd floor that smelled musty upon entering. The bathroom trash can had a wrapper from a sanitary napkin in it. The bed looked as though someone had already sat on it. Our television needed rebooting and the tub was junk! (very small, old tub with jets on the bottom, one was broken and rusted). No view! We went down to ask to be moved, but were told that they were sold out. The receptionist who came up to reboot our television told us we could go to the Chateau Frontenac if we wanted a better room! No offer to make any accommodations to us (like an offer to move us for the next night, which was a Sunday) to one of the nicer rooms we had thought we were booking. Or perhaps she could have offered us a glass of wine or SOMETHING for the let down! We expected better. The location is fabulous and the valet parking was a plus (although you pay for that too and no offer to waive the fee when we expressed disappointment. We travel a lot of generally choose boutique hotels for the special service one receives. Don't expect it at this place. Go to the Hilton a few blocks away if you want to get what you pay for (or you could go to the Chateau Frontenac, as the receptionist suggested, if your wallet allows). These people are in no way accommodating.

Charming small hotel located in the heart of the old town, located just steps from the river and around the corner from the Chateau Frontenac. There are a few spaces in front of the hotel to temporarily park your car and unload. They provide valet parking but make sure to request it when you make your reservation. The hotel has an elevator but you will need to negotiate 10 steps up from the street through two doors with your luggage to enter the lobby. A nice perk is a small lounge adjacent to reception that has an automatic wine machine with 10 bottles of various types under nitrogen that dispense 3 different amounts depending on your choice using a “wine card” provided by reception. Our room came with a card preloaded with $12 which would allow you to taste each bottle with a few dollars left over. They also have a coffee machine and juice machine available 24/7. Pastries left over from breakfast are provided as well. Breakfast is a nice continental with plenty of breads cheeses eggs crepes fruits etc. Our room was a king with plenty of overhead lighting in addition to 3 lamps. Both sides of the bed had nightstands. There is plenty of room to maneuver around the bed. Closet space is adequate. The bedroom and bathroom have separate heating thermostats. The alarm clock had USB ports. The bathroom had a large sink- actually too large as the bowl takes up most of the top so there is limited space for toiletries. The door to the bathroom had lots of frosted glass panels so a late night trip to the bathroom floods the bedroom with light. The shower was powerful- probably the most powerful we’ve ever had on our trips. It has settings for body spray as well as overhead so take a minute to experiment before you get in. Hot and cold were reverse directions from what we are used to. The floor can become extremely slippery- the grab bars come in handy. Some coating to add grip would be appreciated. The shower has a built in seat with its own set of sprays. A shaving mirror is provided. The exhaust fan worked well. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I regret not leaving my Comments at the hotel because of the incorrect statement “Also available on line”. Therefore, I shall attempt as follows: Reservation & arrival Most expectations were met. Room Everything was excellent — Especially the original wall paintings and the large tv (The Canada / Ireland soccer game was a bonus). During your stay Everything required was excellent. General impression Staff courtesy was extremely diverse, from Brenson’s excellent and exraordinarily smiling energy, compared to all the night staff who seemed ignorant of their aparent purpose in life, e.g., the value of a smile. Cleanliness overall was as expected. Product quality was amazingly high. Last word Yes, I would return again … should the cost resemble that advertised on Google (Rather than double) ‼️
