Let me start with the positive . The reception staff was very friendly and gave me a map and tips where to go to, like the fireworks . Check in and check out were a breeze. The hotel had a very antique and quaint feel to it. But I should say It needs some updating now but still keep that...

Stayed at the Hôtel Marie-Rollet on the first night of a motorcycle trip to the Gaspe. Location is great so you can get to all locations easily. Hotel is quaint with 1900's charm. I had the economy room on the second floor with included a small bed room, a separate toilet room, and a separate shower room in the hallway...

Our room was in the basement which I would never do again. It was extremely clean and the old-fashioned decor was very pretty. The hotel's location was it's best feature. We could walk everywhere and yet come back to the hotel for quick clothing changes, bathroom, etc. The ice machine was outside our room which made it very noisy. The...

A perfect location in the Old City, you can walk every where from here. The walls, quays, the pedestrian walkways, restaurants, et al. As far as location is concerned, you cant do better than this. At the corner of the main street, minutes from everything you want to see. Our basement room was spacious, even with our huge suitcases. The...

This is a really nice small inn about a block off of the very busy, touristy main square in old town. Perfect location and room with private bath was small, but very satisfactory. Other guests were quiet and respectful of others staying there.

This is a good hotel if you are looking for an old-fashioned experience within the walled portion of the city. It is a bit beat-up (scratched wallpaper, etc) but that's just cosmetic - our room was very clean, bed super comfortable, everything functioning properly in the bath. No breakfast and lots of somewhat steep stairs are limitations of being in...

I had a room in the Souterrain and it was perfect because of the hot weather. The hotel is in a authentic old townhouse and I had a nice fireplace in my room. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in the middle of Old Town Quebec City and all you want to see in this...

The location is superb. If you like 19th century elegance and can make allowances (no elevator or breakfast), this could be your hotel. Room 20 (2nd floor) is small and has a bathroom down the hall. It is not shared but you do have to remember your key. And dress appropriately, of course. There is a sink in the room....

Isabelle at the front desk checked me in and was amazing and helpful throughout my stay, as were all the other front desk agents. She spent time talking to me while I waited alone for my partner to join me on my first night. She provided excellent info about the city and restaurants and was always efficient while still being...

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location close to local attractions, restaurants and shopping. Just a short walk to the boardwalk overlook to the St Lawrence water front. Parking is available across the street for a fee. The hotel had available for use a microwave, refrigerator and dishes. Across the...
