A hidden treasure in Vieux Quebec. If you are looking for a quaint European-style hotel filled with period antiques and a lot of history right in the heart of the city, this is it! Though it does not have the frills of a big-chain hotel, it more than makes up with the attention and friendliness its owner, Alain Turcotte, and his...

We stayed 2 nights at Marie Rollet...Very quaint...small room but very clean; that's all you need on vacation. Felt like we were in Europe. The staff was very nice. If we return to Old Quebec, we will stay there.

We stumbled upon this hotel while passing through and it was a great place to stay! The owner was very friendly and amiable; said that he lived downstairs if we ever needed anything at all! Our room was directly on the street, but it was not too loud until we were ready to check out, as there was massive construction...

A stay in the Marie Rollet Hotel in Old Quebec City is like stepping back in time! This historic hotel, built in 1876, is in a wonderful location, right in the heart of Old Quebec and an easy walk to everything (we never moved our car during our stay). I suppose you can understand that "historic" = "old" and this...

I stayed on the 3rd floor and has a terrace near my bedroom. It was really good to stay there during night watchng the stars. Alain, the owner, is really kind and provided all useful information I needed to visit all the city. The hotel is clean, confortable and really well located. They offer breakfast discounts for Pain Beni some...

We booked the most basic room in this hotel and while we were informed that we were to have a private bathroom, we arrived to find a teeny-tiny room (number 9) and a bathroom down the hall. I suppose you could argue that the bathroom was private, in that we were the only ones using it, but to not declare...

Dear guess, thank you for your review. We are sorry if you be disappointed. Our goal is than the people have the best stay in Old Québec city. Unfortunately many people don't read the description of the room when they reserved. Our "economy rooms" (room 9 and room 20) have a private bathroom in the hallway (it's private but not...

We stayed in Room 22, which is on the 3rd floor and has an ensuite bathroom (sink in the room itself) - but take note that not all of the rooms have ensuite bathrooms. The walls are very thin. There is a terrace on the third floor but it's quite spartan and we didn't see anyone sitting out there (it's...

Perfect location in the centre of the old town. Stayed in a Newly renovated King room (mini suite), which gave us a couch, small dinette, microwave and mini-fridge. Staff/ owners were always helpful with directions or suggestions. Extremely clean and comfortable. We stayed a week, and were very happy with our choice to stay here. Be aware that it is...

The Hotel is well located in Quebec City for walking around the old town. The price was very reasonable and the owner and staff were excellent: very attentive, helpful and pleasant. The room we got was a bit small but had a private bath, and was clean and functional. Its a quaint Victorian style hotel, so there are only stairs...

The Hotel Marie-Rollet is located near every tourist site in Old Quebec City. It is two blocks away from the Terrasse-Dufferin. As for its accommodations, it is like a bed and breakfast but without the breakfast.(However, it offers free coffee in the morning.) It has old furniture, but it is clean. We were in room 21 which was on the...
