I absolutely loved this charming little château located in Old Quebec City! So cozy and homey. The room was very clean and any help I need was only a text away with the free WiFi. Walking distance was close to everything. I will be back to this lovely little place.

This is an OK option for QC. Nothing fancy but depending on the price you get it for it could be fine. Pros: - location is perfect! right next to Fairmont Frontenac in the middle of Old Quebec - hallways have antique decorations/furnishings - self-service in terms of getting in (no reception) and access to a shared kitchen/fridge and a patio Cons: - rooms and bathrooms are tiny! think European size - bed and pillows are dated and not super comfortable - the air conditioner was a window model and loud at night - room furnishings are simple and in need of an update

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We appreciate your honest review and want to take the opportunity to address some of the points you've mentioned. As a historic hotel built in the mid-1800s and located within a UNESCO-protected site, we are committed to preserving the original character and architecture of the building. While this limits us in making significant layout renovations, we strive to provide a unique and authentic experience that captures the charm of Old Quebec. We are delighted that you appreciated our prime location, right next to the Fairmont Frontenac in the heart of Old Quebec. Being surrounded by the historic beauty of the area is one of the highlights of our property. The antique decorations and furnishings in the hallways add to the ambiance and tell the story of our hotel's rich history. We take note of your comments about the room size and understand that some guests may find them compact. We want to assure you that we do our best to make the most of the available space while preserving the historic layout. Regarding the bed, pillows, and air conditioner, we understand the importance of providing comfortable amenities to ensure a restful stay. We will assess these aspects to see how we can make improvements and enhance the overall guest experience. Our commitment is to continuously improve and modernize our facilities while staying true to the heritage of the building. While some of the furnishings may be simple, we believe they add to the historic charm of the hotel. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we will use it to further enhance our offerings and services. We hope you will consider staying with us again in the future, as we are always striving to provide a more enjoyable experience for our guests. Thank you for choosing our historic hotel, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for another visit to Old Quebec.

Charming hotel in a great location next to the Citadelle for those looking for a quiet neighborhood, yet easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Be aware, however, that this walk involves hills and/or steps on the return back to the hotel after a busy day exploring Old Town. This was not an issue for us, but it might be useful information for anyone who might have mobility limitations. It also may not be a quiet location during le Festival d'été de Québec. The hotel is in an old building but has all the modern updates in the rooms; however, there is no elevator. There is no staff on site but they are just a phone call or text away. We had no trouble with getting questions answered or requests fulfilled within a short amount of time via text. Every single interaction we had with staff was professional, friendly, and helpful. Both the main entrance and rooms are accessed via a code, which we found to be very convenient and secure. The basement kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, utensils, etc, as well as tables for those guests who prefer to eat in, and there is a nice patio/garden in the back of the building.

Our family went to Quebec City for Carnival and stayed at Chateau de Pierre. It was the perfect distance between all the activities, not even a ten minute walk which is important when traveling with little ones 🙂 A grocery store was nearby, along with amazing restaurants. Streets and steps are steep in the city, but they did a good job of keeping steps clear and safe. The entryway and room was fitting for the old building. The room and bathroom was definitely bigger than expected. We had the entry code to the building, so even though we arrived early, we were able to get warm and put our luggage downstairs. There is a full kitchen at your disposal downstairs-appliances and all! Merci pour votre hospitalité.

We stayed here over night on a girl trip. It was safe, secure, cozy and clean. We loved the room. The beds were comfortable and clean as was the bathroom and room. Definitely recommend it as the staff ensure great communication and no contact access easily. We will be back!

Le Chateau de Pierre was a great choice for our trip to Quebec City. The room was clean and well appointed and the location was amazing. The hotel is contactless which I was initially worried about, but they are in touch continuously and are only a phone call away. It's within walking distance to so many things including Le Chateau Frontenac, The Citadel, shopping, and many restaurants. We will definitely stay here again.

We spent 1 night in this charming, historic hotel. Virtual check in was easy, and staff contacted us several times by text and email during our stay to ask if everyting was going as expected and asking if there was anything more they could do to ensure our comfort. Very attentive! The room was clean. We were given vouchers for a free breakfast at a restaurant on the next street because we had booked directly through the hotel (which really did give us the best price!) I assumed the breakfast would be a very simple thing, since we were given only 4 menu choices. But wow! What a great breakfast, with all the trimmings. Restaurant was La Buche. With breakfast included, this was a really good deal. We were lucky enough to find great parking too. Right up the street at the junction of Ste-Geneviève and St.Denis. Outdoor parking for 20$ /24 hours. Not sure if we could have gone in and out, but we didn't need to. The weather was great and since the location is right in the Old City, we walked everywhere. All in all a great experience and I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in this old and historic hotel. It is perfectly located. The old city is in one direction, the Citadel is just behind the hotel and there is a park out the front door. There is a convenient parking garage a half a block away. The room was clean, warm, comfortable and spacious. The staff was friendly and responsive. We would highly recommend staying here!!

We really love this hotel. Even before we arrived, hotel team members communicated with us via messenger, provided all info that we were asking about related to room, parking, etc. It was very helpful, following their instructions, we got parking 150 meters from the hotel. Check in and check out via internet. so you may arrive anytime and be able to check in. It is very convenient and easy. Hotel location is perfect, can not be better, literally next to Frontenac and river, but located on a quiet street. It is very clean having beautiful halls and rooms with Victorian era design. Next time for Quebec city trip we would definitely stay in Le Chateau de Pierre, but may be using their direct site for booking. Hubert, Sandrine, Sebastian- thank you SO Much for your warm attitude!

Excellent location in the heart of Old Quebec City. Easy walking (although hilly) through the old town. Nespresso coffee provided in room, no breakfast option however dining available nearby. Our room had a smaller bathroom, but was adequate; room not overly spacious. Located between the Citadel and Chateau Frontenac. Checking in and out via internet; we had a bit of difficulty but it ended up being fairly straightforward.
