Questionable cleanliness in the rooms, they do not offer complimentary tea or body cream in them, breakfast is very limited, they do not offer variety or more than the only dish they give you. Nice pool, gym useful for a trip. Hotel relatively close by car to the center of Quebec. Excellent hotel staff attention

When we got to the hotel and entered the room, we found the floor of the room and the bathroom to be very dirty. We want to the front desk shortly after and had the room switched, as it was far too late for a cleaning crew to come.

Our new room was much better, but still mediocre. There was one hanger for the room, half a box of tissues, no garbage in the bathroom, and the telephone didn’t work at all. At least the floor was clean! Also, the air conditioner was not very effective and did very little to cool the room, even when set to 17 degrees Celsius.

The hallway was falling apart and the carpet was coming up in places. The ice machine on the second floor was great but there was not one on the fourth floor at all.

The location was pretty good. Walk just seven minutes to catch the 800 bus to get into centre-ville easily. Free parking was definitely a plus and the restaurants in the immediate plaza were convenient.

The pool was small, but good for kids, the water was a good temperature and heavily chlorinated. The hot tub was great.

Overall, we don’t know if we’d stay here again. For sure, we’d look at different options first.

I go to this hotel regularly and I am always satisfied.
Clean room, really comfortable bed, nothing is missing.
The on-site restaurant is excellent.
Close to everything and cheaper than a hotel in the city center.
I would add an ashtray outside to prevent cigarette butts from being thrown on the ground. Otherwise, it's really perfect!

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. From the minute you step into the hotel you smell the bleach and the humid air was suffocating.
The elevator was very old and dirty.
The room was very dusty. The bed was squeaking even when you just adjust your head we thought it’s going to fall.
The fridge was on the luggage rack and very loud, we tried unplugging it but the dripping water from the freezer was annoying so we had to plug it back.
The heater/AC was from ancient times, it’s very loud every time it went on we would wake up.
Paper thin walls with No isolation, Loud music at night. we also woke up to a loud alarm noise at 4pm and the reception was not even aware.

And the worst part is the bathroom: the wall paper was ripped and coming off in different places, the water faucet was jiggly, the bathtub was moldy, there was many stains on the walls next to the toilet it’s extremely disgusting. Even the toilet had a crack!

Worst hotel ever, I would never come back. It almost ruined our trip. we stayed 2 nights and asked for a cleaning they just switched some towels and a waste bin.
I started taking pictures and gave up because I would have to film the hole room.

We were there for 2 nights. Upon arrival, we were surprised to see NO storage furniture or coat closet. The ceiling tiles have water leak rings as well as several walls. All our stock was on the ground which was extremely dirty. During the night, we were woken up by the heating system which was making a hell of a noise. The next day, they offer us the sequel. The base of our king bed is two single bed bases glued together, yellowed and dirty, not covered... no mattress cover apart from a "loose" sheet which does not hold at all. The wallpaper is coming off the walls and the window sill has mold. The shower door doesn't close, so lots of water to collect on the floor after each shower. From 11 a.m. until 5 p.m., trash and dirty sheets/towels littered the floors of almost every corridor. The only positive point is the very warm swimming pool and the spa. A lifeguard was paid to watch the swimmers but was glued to her tablet 😳... I do not recommend this hotel in any way...
On the other hand, the reception staff were very courteous and available.

Decent hotel for the price the night cost me, i.e. $140 taxes included. I booked a room "with a view of the river" and in terms of cleanliness, nothing to complain about: everything was spotless. For the "river view", on the other hand, you had to use your imagination, because it was more of a view of the Normandin opposite.

The hotel is obviously popular with children, and we understand: there is an arcade and the indoor swimming pool, located in a large atrium, is quite attractive. There are also “water games” for children, something you rarely see in a hotel.

Note, however, that this hotel is completely devoid of charm. We see that the entire interior design was guided by the concern for “quickly, cheaply”. Everywhere, both in the rooms and in the common areas, the furniture is of poor quality and shows signs of deterioration.

The service at the reception was good and the housekeeper was friendly.

The corridors are actually being renovated and it's a bit weird.

Overall, it's an acceptable hotel.

Not happy with our stay at this hotel. There was no daily cleaning of the rooms and you had to ask to have it made up, but they wouldn't do it daily. Whenever we asked, they had a different reason for no maid service. The hallways by the rooms were in disrepair- pieces of the carpet coming out which could pose a tripping issue. The main floor was remodelled, but upstairs needed some upgrades. The pool area was lovely, but the lighting in the evening was dim and the handles used to get into the pool were wobbly. Enjoyed the birds in cages and I am sure children would love them. The city bus stop was very close which was helpful to get to Vieux Quebec and we enjoyed seeing the local Quebecois.

We found, my wife and I, that the cost of this room was far too expensive for the quality offered (€115.00/night): the room was dirty (on the floor, as we moved barefoot, we soiled our feet), the ceiling tiles were largely stained with traces of moisture, the air conditioning making an unbearable noise so that it could not operate for more than half an hour and absolutely not during the night (which led to a rise in the temperature of the room to 29°C!), the toilet flush was broken and I personally had to "fix" it several times for it to fill properly.
All this is without mentioning the dirt of the elevator, which surprised us at first glance: torn floor, damaged partitions, defective lighting, unpleasant smell, waiting time for the arrival of the cabin (only one elevator) and a non-accompaniment to our room. Is it a lift for guests or a freight elevator, reserved for staff? It was a wonder!...
Finally, we had never seen the fact that a deposit (of 100 dollars) is held with customers for the duration of the stay...
The pool? A bean 6 meters long, undersized for a hotel this size!
However, the staff was charming, even embarrassed by the magnitude of our inconveniences....
We will not return to this property again.

Really a nice hotel with all amenities. We chose a room with two beds and balcony. The rooms with balcony have a direct view of the atrium with swimming pool, whirlpool, water games, several tables and chairs, all well decorated and arranged. The room is comfortable with fridge and microwave. The staff is friendly and friendly. A little outside downtown Quebec but located just off Highway 440 which leads us to the main attractions. There is a restaurant in the hotel and several others beside and in front of the hotel. You can get there easily on foot. We enjoyed the heated pool at a very pleasant temperature. The hot tub was accessible, but unfortunately due to a technical problem, the jets worked very little. A little disappointed but the problem should be solved soon.

Very poor customer service. 45 mn line up to register.
No shower curtain in the bathroom . Person in charge at the customer service asked me to take one and install it myself !!!
This hotel didn’t care client satisfaction.
Another client was complaining because the room was smelling cigarette smoke. They gave the client a spray to diffuse by himself…
Definitively doesn’t worth $145 paid rate.

What is the public transport like to Old Quebec?
Answer from TommyBernier1
Quebec City, Canada2 contributions
Hi, I am sorry for the delay. You can easily access to the Old Quebec City by buses. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel that takes you in the city center, a few steps away from the old city. To have more information about the buses, I invite you to visit RTC's website. Note that to get to the city center you have to get on the bus 53, the one that pass in front of our hotel. If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to contact us again. Have a good day, Tommy
