I loved this B&B. It was so cozy and warm. We were three women, very comfortable in a large room with two beds. Our room had a kitchenette and outdoor deck. Everything was spotless. The owner was very gracious, as we had many questions about things to do. The breakfasts were very delicious! I would highly recommend this B&B.

We had a great stay at Castel du Monde in Old Quebec City during October. The building is a historical and prestigious mansion built in 1860 and it is situated within walking distance to the Congress Centre, all attractions and restaurants. Our host Natalie was very friendly and caring. The room we occupied was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The breakfast...

We loved this B&B. It's located in a quiet street but a is only a short stroll to everything in Old Quebec. Our room (Ecurie) really exceeded our expectations (see my pictures). It was spacious and airy with interesting furniture and art works. It also had access to a courtyard with flower baskets and outdoor seating. The courtyard is near...

I totally agreed with the review below if you have stayed in B&B's in Europe you would know that this is special and a lovely place. No Jolanta is not there to meet you but you get a code to come in the first front door then there is a envelope with all details you need and keys you need...

we share all the previous good reviews by fellow travelers. A charming place, a charming host - pity we could not spend more time with her -, excellent breakfast. Room was very comfortable, nice and kitsch, but we expected that from the previous reviews. Wi-fi. The steps were 59 from street level, and I managed to drag four pieces of...

I think the "disgusting" reviewer is an old kermudgin used to 5 star US hotels. I have been in Beds and Breakfasts from various towns throughout England, Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Norway, and the States. My room here is large complete with an antechamber with a small refrigerator, two chairs, and three nicely appointed tables. It was a great "staging"...

My experience at Castel du Monde was essentially the opposite of the reviewer "ater42." Overall I enjoyed my stay very much. The room was special (the Ecurie). It was out behind the main house in a converted stable/carriage house. It had twenty foot ceilings and skylights. The art work and furnishings were very nice and tastefully done. Yolanta (the owner)...

I don't think I can find a better B&B anywhere in Quebec. Rooms are filled with old school deco. They do not look expensive, but it creates a certain comfy feeling in the rooms. Breakfast is about the best you can expect from a B&B. People were friendly and helpful. Two thumbs up!

I wish I had read Mark E's review before we booked this B&B! Everything he said is true but he didn't tell you that those three flights of stairs are 53 STEPS and after being in a city that is very HILLY those 53 STEPS feel like 253 STEPS when you are "lets say, not so young"! As you can...

My wife and I spent three nights at Castle du Monde in mid-September. It is in a terrific location, an easy walk to almost all of the old city. Jolanta was a friendly and energetic hostess, although we didn't see her very much. Our room (Champlain) was large, comfortable, clean, and quiet, with a very nice view. Breakfast was tasty...
