Would definitely recommend this place. Rooms were spacious and extremely comfortable and staff was helpful. My wife and I enjoyed the historical ambience of this old building. It truly feels like you being transported to a city in Europe

The GOOD: Perfect location for walking to every upper and lower city attractions. Insulated windows eliminated all street noise on the very busy Rue St Louis. Breakfast card was good at the restaurant next door. The BAD: RM 272 was not at the address we booked so we had to drag our luggage a couple blocks and up stairways. The...

This is what I received for $576 CAD (twin room) for 2 nights: (1) 3 pm and no room service unless asked; this was despite having the sign up on our door for room cleaning from the morning. Front management told us that we had to specify a time for room service; this was not mentioned anywhere, plus what was...

We didn't know what to expect when we booked 2 nights at Hotel Acadia. It was the first time we stayed at an old-style hotel like this and at a rate that was pretty reasonable. Our stay was just a lovely experience. The front desk staff was friendly and gave us a free room upgrade. Our room was in the...

Our reservation was for 9/1 - 9/7, but actually we were to arrive just after midnight on 9/2. We were so grateful that the hotel held our reservation due to Delta dumping us off in Vermont at 2am instead of Quebec City that we didn't arrive until 9:30 am on 9/2. The front office staff were very friendly and Louis...

We loved our few days at Acadia Hotel. This beautiful old house converted to an hotel is just stunning. The service is to be expected. And the location is perfect, you can walk to wherever you want. This reminds you an old village of Europe. We had the studio apartment and felt at home. We would return there without hesitation....

Set in a quiet residential/hotel area, but a short climb or descent to nonstop old city action; hotel Acadia is a simple, elegant and delicious spit. Seems underpriced, because it is so nicely appointed. We had one of the only 2 basement rooms, which would have been a detraction if not for the ancient rock walls, and huge airy room...

The Acadia has gotten some negative reviews, as well as many more positive ones . Our experience was totally positive. I booked a "Classic Queen" and was given the room that is probably routinely given to solo male travellers. It was in the main building but looked nothing like the pictures. As I climbed the many stairs to the attic I wondered about fire safety but need not have worried - I had a personal fire escape via the window....

We are truly disappointed to read that your room did not completely meet your expectations. It is true that our rooms are smaller than the majority of the rooms of big hotels belonging to hotel chains and it is because our hotel is located in an historical building. However, our rooms have this unique and historical cachet that you cannot...

Terrific location in Old Quebec, within walking distance of the Citadel, Frontanic Hotel, St Laurence River and many restaurants and shops. The staff was friendly and our doubled bedded room was very clean and comfortable. Not much noise on the street. Down side of the experience would be the "free" breakfast. Since the hotel does not have their own restaurant,...
