The location of this hotel is perfect for visiting the old city, we did not have a car and were able to walk everywhere. Many good restaurants within a few blocks of this hotel. Marielle is a great hostess, very accommodating and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and clean.

We love this place and were so sad to leave. We spent three nights for our 20th anniversary Nov 30 to Dec 2. Marielle and Oscar (the cat) are the most wonderful hosts. Our room was so beautiful with it's four poster bed and four large windows with deep sills: we made the corner w

We arrrived in Quebec on a wet day off a cruise liner - arrived around midday and luckily for us our room was ready - we had room 1 by the front door, a corner room with views of the St Laurence. The room was decorated and furnished in a way that reflected an earlier era - the sh

We were impressed with this boutique hotel from the start. Marielle welcomed us at the door and explained how things worked with keys, breakfast, wifi and so on. We were introduced to Oscar the cat and asked to make sure that he didn’t escape when we opened the front door - a rec

How far away is parking and what is the cost?
I just found the same question and some answers above. Public parking is just 5 or 10 minutes walk and costs $22 per day.

Bonjour! We are thinking of vacationing in Quebec for a week in July 2017. I understand that there is no street parking. How secure are the public parking lots on Haldimand Street, and City Hall? Also, do the parking lots accommodate full-size trucks? Or should we bring our small car? Thank you, Lisa
We parked in a garage suggested by Marielle. It certainly felt secure as there was access by credit card only. Like other responses to the question, I would suggest a smaller car to make it easier when driving round the city. Plenty to see too! Have a good time.

"Room 10 is spacious, much more so than other rooms we saw. Check which room you are allocated before confirming."
"We stayed in la Chambre Bleu, room number five. Quite large and very comfortable."
"Ask to check the room before you sign in, and before Madame makes you pre-pay for your whole stay!!"
"room no.1 is street level. So for privacy keep windows closed if you don’t want onlookers. But street very quiet."
"Room 9 was the perfect size for two of us - it's not huge, but we were not on top of each other. The bed is amazingly comfortable!"
