We arrived hours before the check-in time but they had provided us a keycard lock to store our luggages. Prior to our arrival date, they made us aware about it already. We had a good communication with the staff with our booking and answering related questions. So far, the staff we had met are hospitable. Be warn that there is no elevator so muscle up to bring all of your belongings up. The hostel was clean, spacious and quiet. We had a comfortable bed in a private room with our own bathroom. Overall, we feel safe during our entire stay. They informed us of free activities if you want to join in. They had a tea and coffee station on the first floor. They have laundry services and a kitchen in the basement. The hostel is perfectly located, within walking distances, to our

This hostel is perfectly situated within 2 blocks walking distance from Rue Saint Jean which is a popular walking street in Vieux Quebec City. The hostel itself has a range of rooms available including private and dorm rooms. It provides complimentary coffee on the main floor. The kitchen is located downstairs. The staff are willing to order a taxi and provide tourist information in addition to giving you a tour of the hostel. Bathrooms are conveniently located on each floor. Parking is available for low height vehicles within 2 block walking distance. No elevators are available. A small grocery store with fresh baking and coffee is within one block walking distance. Staff are available 24/7. Go see the National art gallery- Des Beaux Arts n addition to other

We arrived Thursday near 1630h after a 6-hour motorcycle ride...The inside was spotless, check-in was simple and quick. All staff was helpful and polite. The Auberge was perfectly located in Vieux Quebec, minutes (walking) to one of the liveliest streets, and never more than a 40 min. walk to ANY of the sites of Old Quebec....NO need for any form of mechanical transportation!

We had a large private room with ensuite bathroom and kingsize bed on the 2nd floor of the hostel for 3 nights. The room was very comfortable, with 2 windows, hardwood floors and was very clean and quiet. Bed was very comfy and we were happy to come back to the hostel and relax after walking miles around the charming city! The hostel kitchen seemed well equipped for travellers to use although we only used the fridge, and didn't cook a meal there. Free brewed coffee is available in the lobby all the time. Hugo at the front desk was so friendly and helpful, recommending local microbreweries for us to try as well as interesting pockets of the city to see. His suggestions were spot-on! We really enjoyed exploring both our neighbourhood and a lot of the city, especially Saint Roch

I am delighted to have chosen HI Quebec for my stay. Good chats, free coffee, great walking tour of the city, clean room/bathrooms, and some wonderful friendships made. The building itself is huge and really cool and has a theatre of all things! Extra special shoutout to my fellow ex-Surreyite Simon (general manager) , one of the kindest people I have ever met, who gave me my very own tour of the city completely free. Loved hearing about your rather eclectic career so far. Don't go letting that violin gather dust - I will be back to check :P Few comments - wifi can be a bit hit + miss in some rooms and the beds are pretty narrow. But maybe I'm just a bit spoilt on the latter..

Me and my friend wanted to do a little road trip and needed somewhere cheap to stay in the city, this hostel was excellent- super friendly staff- clean rooms, and dining area to cook food was so handy- felt really communal in the evening! We did the walking tour offered by the hostel which was a great way of experiencing and exploring the city! Location was great as just off the high street and there’s some little food stores just down the road!

This is my second time at this fantastic hostel. Needless to say, the location was fantastic, being located right in the heart of one of Canada's most beautiful cities. This time, I spent a week here right while the COVID-19 pandemic was happening, and was amazed at the professionalism of the staff and how much effort they put in to ensure that their guests had a great and safe stay. Everything was immaculately clean. All of the social distancing rules were followed, and there was hand sanitizer every where. I was also working remotely during this time, and just wanted to mention that their WI-FI was great, and allowed me to do Zoom/Team calls without a hitch. Thanks so much again to the team for being such fantastic hosts! A bientot :)

Thanks so much for your review! Excuse me for taking so long to reply to it though. I hope that you will have the chance to come back soon and see what else we are doing. We have now installed a new touch card door lock system, which is a lot more effective than the magnetic stripe system we had before.

Stayed here in February/March. Location: it's easy to find from the coach/train station. Well situated to explore the main attractions of the city. Rooms: I stayed in a few dorms here: each was well maintained; very clean. Facilities: laundry, showers, WCs, and communal areas were well looked after and cleaned daily. Staff: honestly from my experience they're the most friendliest, accommodating, conscientious and inclusive team from the senior management to the temporary staff. Activities: lots to see and do around the area. I was there for the Winter Carnival! The hostel arranged activities such as tours, karaoke and an icebar. They were inclusive of everyone.
